American home Shield gave us this company to fix our AC unit. They used to wrong type of supplies in our unit and now we are having to replace the entire unit because of it. They put R-410 compressor inside an R-22 system. They do not mix and are not supposed to mix, they will ruin the entire system. Horribly company.
They installed a new inside unit and didnt flush the line, it caused non-condensables to get in the line and ruin my compressor. Two weeks and 1,350 dollars since the install and I still don't have a working AC. Then they tried to charge me for replacing the compressor THEY broke. It wasnt until after I threatened to file a complaint with my home warranty company did they call me back and zero the balance out. They're supposed to come today, but I havent got a scheduling call. A-US Air is unethical. There techs lie about the issue and then cause other problems to the units to collect. The techs installed a compressor wrong and even let r-22 freon into the air instead of doing things right. This is a big no no with the EPA. Also, the tech didn't check for leaks prior to install which is wrong, and didn't replace the correct oil into the new compressor causing a current issue. They are now lying to say there is a newly developed leak in the evap coil. All to try to get over $2000 of bs code upgrades... read more
Update : according to warranty they are both 100% covered . So why did we get charged $210.00? Sounds like they stole our money Our home warranty company hired them to repair our AC system that went down. They came right out because we have a medically fragile child. They replaced the compressor fan, kept trying to talk us into purchasing a new system from them. One if we need it our warranty covers it. He continued to bad mouth our warranty (they hired you). If I could give this company Zero stars I would, I live in San Antonio, TX. I have never met so many unprofessional people in my life, starting with Chuck in the install department he is the most rudest person ever. You don't tell someone "And your still not happy with the price you paid for a Coil" what kind of person says that. terrible ,ran a drain line into our ceiling and refuses to fix the damage after two weeks of flooding the ceiling before it was discovered pouring out
This company is the worst company I have ever attempted to do business with. My AC quit working on Saturday. We contacted our home warranty company and they said they would send out A-US to repair the AC. However they would not be able to come out until Monday. I looked up their website and it advertises that they offer emergency services. But they would not even talk to us until Monday. Monday was when the real problems began. I had a horrible experience with A_US Air Conditioning of Texas today. They came out last week - recommended by American Home Shield to look at my AC. I got a call later saying they could install for almost $2000 the next day. I didn't accept because 1) why was it so high if I have AHS warranty? 2) no one discussed the price before ordering the parts for installation. Your tech guy, Alex, is a terrible representative of your company. Not only did he create this problem by leaking water into our home from the new AC I bought from y'all, he is also incapable of telling the truth and is extremely rude. This experience with him has been the absolute worst I can remember in dealing with a technician of any sort. Yesterday (9/5), he sent a Sheetrock guy to our home without calling us first.
