I have had T-mobile for years and actually didn't have any issues for the most part. Most of the customer service USED to be good. Not anymore. I have had signal issues over the past month (since large storms moved through) and there is an issue with my tower. T-mobile refuses to even acknowledge there is an issue and keep trying to sell us signal boosters. We can almost see our tower and when it is working we have full bars. We ended our service 14 months ago and are still dealing with T-Mobile. After getting tired of dropped calls and terrible service, we decided to go back to Verizon. We went into T-Mobile May 2017 and made a one time payment to end our service and pay off our phones. I went to another country and told them to put freeze on my account until i returned and no extra fees or payment to be charged. Per representative in country Philippines? I thought I live in America not Philippines but is fine i guess. i have been told that i have been customer for almost 12 years and there will be no issues and she will put the freeze on my account. Would no stars but it is not an option!!! Changed to T mobile due to poor signal at our country home from our carrier ATT. Purchased a new iPhone 8 telling the salesman that it was important if T mobile coverage was not good than I would be switching to another company. He said no problem since I paid cash. The salesperson at the T Mobile store in Bothell Washington blatantly lied to get a sale. She specifically stated that the store credit on a trade in was separate from them paying off my financed phone as lost as i ported my number. Find out a month later that I have to pay off my phone and they got a $1000 phone for $313 credit. Unfortunate that my first impression with a new company is being lied to over a sale.
I was a former AT&T subscriber and had 4 lines in from 2012 -2017. I made a mistake of switching to TMOBILE due to its lower monthly rates. I was given inadequate instructions by their call center representative when I switched. The rebate program was never explained thoroughly. I missed the 60 day window to file for rebate. The rebate amount was supposed to pay for termination fees associated with my AT&T account. None of the TMOBILE letters or email contained instructions about the rebate. An online payment was made with the wrong amount of $399.24 and charged to an incorrect debit card on file. I immediately called customer service to report the problem & request a stop payment. I was assured by the Rep that the request was placed immediately thru a "" VIP Processing Dept" as I was a loyal customer for 5 years.. I hate T-mobile and will never, ever deal with them once I am finally done with them. They have the nerve to say they are taking care of veterans with their so called “carrier freedom program.” Don’t believe any of it, it’s just a racket to get veterans to sign their family lies up and promise tons of discounts only to not follow through on their promises.
