This is the WORST company if you are planning a move. Our Container is currently 4 days late as I sit a write this review. Customer Service - what company does not communicate and get an ETA for their customers. What kind of company hires a driver that hangs up on you when your container is not 1, is not 2, is not 3 but 4 days late?!. To be honest, they were the only ones that we found who would bring a storage container to where we lived. We were selling our house and wanted to get most of our belongings out, so this seemed like the best plan. We had the initial call and listed off everything in our house that we needed to move and they assured us that it would all fit in one pod. Nothing lower than 1 Star too bad. I ordered a moving pod from 1-800-PACK-RAT for a move from Massachusetts to Georgia for myself and my son. When I ordered it I was told it would take 3 to 5 days to get to my house. The pod arrived a day late but was picked up on 6/28. I arrived in Georgia on 7/1 called and was told it was leaving Mass. that day. My parents arrived with my 6yo son 7/10. Still no pod. An absolute nightmare of a company -- wouldn't recommend them under any circumstances. First of all, the misleading pricing is INFURIATING. Was quoted $3700 on the phone for the "total" move, but in actuality was charged $4500. And turns out they have variable pricing for gas that can change at any time!! They'll just charge you whatever they want with no notice. Hands down the worst company I ever used. We reserved a storage container over a month ago, and on the day the container was supposed to be delivered (Monday, 7/26/21), we got a notice that the facility was out of containers and it would be delivered on Wednesday 7/28/21. Wednesday at 4 pm rolls around and still no sign of the container. This company is a money pit. It has been one charge after another and none are the same. Dropped off full containers for one price and empty ones charged more !!!!! 2 charges for one pick up . This after an hour with billing telling me a refund is I'm the works for a previous over charge. Either use a prepaid card or use a credit card with a very low limit. BE VERY VERY CAREFUL . The set up people and truck drivers are all fine and courteous but that's it.

Our move with Zippy Shell has been unprofessional, misleading, and frustrating every step of the way. We initially scheduled our shell and were confirmed for one date and told that our shell would arrive in 10-14 days at our new home. I reserved a container on 5/20/21 for delivery empty on 7/20/21 and delivery full to the new location by 8/2/21. It is now 7/22/21 and I have yet to receive it. I've placed between 6-8 calls to customer service requesting updates between 7/20 and 7/21, and every time I call, I am assured the container will arrive within 1-4 hours of my call. Just moved to ******** from ******, paid Pack Rat over $3,000 for a container and long distance moving. Drop off in ****** went fine, but we've had no end of problems here in ********.
