Pack Rat completely messed up my move! After reserving a container to be delivered, stored, then moved long distance, Pack Rat never delivered the container. The container was scheduled to be delivered on 8/16. That day I did get a text saying the truck broke down and would be delivered 8/17 in the morning. The truck never showed up and there was no communication. When I called and was directed to receive a call back in two hours, that's what I did. I got a call back and was told the container would be delivered that evening... read more

ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT in place. you call their number and the automated system puts you on hold for hrs and no one picks up or you eventually get disconnected.

This company is a complete and total rip off !! Save your money and go ANYWHERE ELSE !!. We called them at the beginning of the month to get them to come and pick up their container for them to tell us it was going to be THREE WEEKS before they could pick it up and oh yeah by the way they were going to charge us another $350 for ANOTHER MONTH FOR THEIR MISTAKE !!! Promised 10 day shipping, have been on the phone with them non stop for days, and now our estimated delivery date is over 2 months. They cannot identify where my container is.

I ordered a pod from PACKRAT so I can pack up my home to move... they called and said there truck " broke down" and it came 3-4 days later.. eventually I got it packed up and picked up.. now I am moving into my new home and was giving the drop of date as 8/25/21 for the pod to be dropped of at my new home well today is 8/25 and they texted me at 11:30 am that because the trucks "broke down" (again...) it can't be delivered for nearly a week 8/31.... Ordered and paid for a 16' POD with Pack Rat and they never showed or called on scheduled day.. it took 3 weeks to get my delivery. Now, they aren't picking it up as scheduled. They did text and say the truck broke down - same lie they said for delivery. They said they would come the next day and they didn't show up or call. No one answers their phone or chat or emails. Frustrating. I am moving and this container has to be moved NOW. Never book with these people .

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I hired them in June for a move in Aug. things happened with the house and I CANCELED in July. They still took $1000 out of my checking account in Aug. I called and they DID refund me the money the same day, but put my account negative and had 6 things get returned with hefty fees from back. Was told it would take 3-5 business days to get my deposit. And they would NOT talk to my bank to help resolve and will NOT refund me the fees from THEIR error. Very poor customer service especially ... read more

I contracted Zippy Shell for a long distance moving and storage job. They were the most competitive on price and their long-term storage option was ideal for my needs. I initially ordered a container to be delivered to my address for two days of loading. Ultimately, I decided to also pay this company to provide loading services. Zero Stars, Terrible Business. Hours to talk to anyone. Scheduled a pod never arrived. Company said they had a truck break down in my area. How can a company be so unprepared for a breakdown, do they only have one truck. Terrible customer service they don't return calls and totally useless. Don't Use them, find someone else you will be sorry.
