I scheduled for a container to be picked up and dropped off at our new location. Pick up was fine, but for drop off I was contacted the day before to confirm. Then the day of I was given a courtesy call and then my container just was never brought. I have called 1800 pack rat numerous times with no answer given as to where my belongings are. They delivered the containers after the date we contracted for, which required me to cancel movers and find new movers with less than a day's notice. Then they failed to pick up the containers on the day we contracted for; they picked them up 2 days later, and they did not even tell me about the delay until after 5:00 pm on the day the containers were supposed to be picked up. I made the mistake of using Zippy shell in May 2021 for my move from Arizona to ********. They claim that once your shell arrives at its destination (8-10 days ) you can call to have it delivered to your new home . What they FAIL to tell you is that they can hold your shell as long as they see fit .. based on their schedules. 10 days ( the max promised ) would have been 6/3 but they refused to deliver until 6/11. Wish I could rate them lower than 1 star. They sound good and have better prices up front but all their hidden fees add up quick. Not very upfront with the an accurate final cost. We've had nothing but problems with this company every step of the way. Alway late to pick up and late to driver. I confirmed with them 4 separate occasions that the driver would be here on the 6th to pick up the empty pod so we could free up the driveway and unblock our single car garage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I have 3 containers with all of our belongings and we are currently in another state without any of our stuff!!! There are so many delays, so many charges and cannot get a hold of anyone. I am literally on the phone with them everyday trying to speak to someone on where my containers are. The hired movers Zippy provided, to load from ***********. which were reckless & disrespectful to all the items they loaded. I placed calls complaining about them & the small amount of storage I had paid for it was a wired storage unit no hard flooring or walls or roof. only wired. We provided moving blankets, quilts & other blankets for protection. They had no dolly or moving cradle to wheel items we provided. We still have not received our pod. It is 7 business days late which is 2 weeks. It has been scheduled for delivery twice and was a no show. This is the absolute worst company to work with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The sales rep gave me all their info to make my move a smooth transition and never once answered the phone or returned a call. WORST EVER

This company - also know as Zippy Shell - is poorly run. We ordered a pod and paid for it a month before our move. On the day the pod was to be delivered for loading we were informed that there were no pods available and the next POSSIBLE day for delivery was the day AFTER we were to move. While they have promised a refund (we'll see), it will be issued a WEEK after we need to move. And there was absolutely no apology or remorse for this error. Do not recommend. DO NOT USE.
