Terrible customer service no matter what department you call. They quoted me a price and then ended up charging me an extra $200. When I called, the billing department was claiming that I was made aware of all charges when the container was delivered, when I was not even present when the initial delivery was completed. Moving made simple is their tag line, but it is anything but simple. I was forced to keep a container on my driveway for an extra month because the company did not send someone to pick it up. Pack Rat was scheduled to pick up my full container on October 29th, 2021 from the house we had sold and delivery it to our new address (70 miles away) that same day. As the day went on, we had received no call, we called to get status. After a couple of hours on hold, we finally got a live person, who claimed it was an "anytime" pick-up and it still be delivered that day. If I could give "0" Stars I would! Zippy Shell aka Pack Rat. I ordered three "containers" for my move. On the day of the move, a truck showed up with a "cage" in it. There were two "loaders" that were there to load the cage. At that time the lead loader said they would not be able to get all three there and they were only be supplying one for our move. Not much I could do, so I sent as many boxes as I could. In the process of loading, the lead loader got into an argument with the other loader and fired him. So that left only... read more

This company is horrible...Pack Rat which is also Zippy Shell. The price was wayyyyyy higher than I was quoted. For example, I was quoted 1700 for 1 container and was told it would be a few hundred dollars more for the 2 additional containers. Once I got everything delivered, then I get a bill for about 5200 bucks......The sales rep never disclosed the total amount. I feel like I was in a bait and switch situation. So here we are the 16th of October, still no POD. It was to be delivered in *********** the 22nd of Sept., from CA to TX. It didn't leave CA till the beginning of Oct!. It was scheduled to arrive to me on the 12th, then with 4 hours to spare it was rescheduled to the 16th. Today, once again it was rescheduled to the 22nd of Oct. Outrageous! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

DON'T use the company! They failed to deliver out items and were unable to tell us when they could be delivered. We finally decided to go pick them up ourselves. They told us our shell was in ******. We drove 3.5 hours, rented a uhaul and when we arrived they told us our things were not there. After waiting the weekend for them to track them down. They were located 5 hours across the state of Colorado. They are refusing to compensate us for our wasted time. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Price was higher than quoted It they could fix that issue they would definitely get a way better rating The service was great as well as the quality of equipment

I requested storage in******. Did not know final destination yet. Asked for a quote to ****** originally but ended up moving to********. When we called to set up move they said they had issues with system but they would take care of it. They gave us a delivery date of 9/28/2021. We had to fly in to receive so we called to verify on the 21 of September. They still had issues with the system but guaranteed it would be delivered. I was clear to say not to rush.
