Paid $2000+ for a long distance move and have been paying $365 per month for a year and my pod doesnt get delivered on time and never even left the original facilty

I dont often write reviews, but my experience with 1-800-PACK-RAT was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others.I chose 1-800-PACK-RAT because they offered insurance coverage for damages that might occur during transport and storage. I paid extra for this coverage, believing it would offer peace of mind. Fine print scam policies will force you to pay a full month even if you only have the pod for a few days. When you call to ask about refund/prorated charges they will tell you they offer no refunds no matter what. If you push further the supervisor will talk over you and yell at you until youre hung up on. Im sure they will rent it out again as soon as they have it back so theyre getting multiple people to pay for the same pod. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Find any other company to work with.
At first, our experience was great. We had a pod delivered, filled it and had it put in storage until we make the move to our new house. We decided to get a second one. This time, the experience was horrible. Once again, we specifically stated we needed the pod as far over in our driveway to our neighbors house and near the doors near the grass by the fence. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY THERE ARE BETTER PLACES TO USE!!!!!! This is a s*** company, pick up date was canceled without notice, customer service is the worst you be on the phone for ever and get nowhere, I hope this will help you make a decision on who to use!

No show. Completed all that they requested, lined up help, planned the day. Waited and waited,no show no call. Cant get an answer by phone.Just horrible service. Dont risk more stress and expense by contacting this company. Worthless and totally unreliable has been my experience. Dont believe the lies. Run far, run fast.

This company changed my pricing 5 times, made promises on 2 separate occasions to deliver my containers on separate dates to accommodate but refused to honor those promises. Multiple customer service **** said that ********************** page would be updated to reflect my delivery date, only it never was. Dont book with them. I have tried to get a quote and they said to book while you can cancel later. When you call to cancel they pick up and say we need to transfer after that you hold for 1 hour.
