We had a long distance move from ******** to ********. Our sales rep ****** was fantastic -- she answered all of my questions, worked to get me the best price possible, and made all of the arrangements to ensure a smooth moving process. Everything went exactly according to schedule. Our containers arrived in ******** on schedule, and our belongings arrived safely in ******** on the agreed date. Great when calling to order. Once you've ordered and they have your money they could care less. I called with a question after I received my pod. The wait time was 50 min. I left a call back number. They called back nearly 2 hours later and I was on hold for a *** for 17 minutes. After dealing with my concern I asked to voice a complaint. I was transfered to another department where I was basically told it was my fault. The *** said I called at the wrong time. Monday and Tuesday are super busy. This was my third interstate move in three years with PackRats and would highly recommend ******* most recent move was so easy knowing just what to do. The team from start to finish was courteous, professional yet personal. My interactions with the drivers at drop off, pick up and delivery were great. I loved 1-800-PACK-RAT. The process was easy, timely, and reasonably priced. They did a great job with the delivery of the bin to our home and the pick up after we were done with it. Good communication, too. Save your money and run to a competitor. I used ***** Pack Rat for a long distance move and I had issues from start to finish. The sales representative likely only wanted commission rather than to help me. He was unhelpful when I had additional questions. I tried to set up other times to talk and I was stood up twice. The sales **** and I made book for the pod to be delivered during "mid morning" when it was in fact for anytime. I had an excellent experience with 1800 Pack Rat and I highly recommend them to anyone planning a move. Their customer service is outstanding and every interaction I had with them was smooth and professional. The prices were unbeatable and came in at about half of what PODS quoted me, which saved me a significant amount of money. I rented a pack rat in July. The driver dropped the container right in front of my front door and left it there. This was completely useless as the I needed to get stuff out the front door. It was requested to be dropped by the side of the house. I called numerous times to talk to someone and told them to come get the container because my father passed away.
