Flat out, don't book with this company if you have basically any expectations around timing or transparency. It took them three weeks to move a container across the country and nobody could tell me where it was or when it would be delivered. First they messed up the container delivery day at the start location despite that being a part of the contract I signed, claiming I was missing a permit that I didn't actually need and didn't bother to tell me. I used this service for my move! Not only did the driver harass me during my move but the company did nothing to resolve the issue! They randomly charged my bank account. Refused to refund me, I will be disputing with my bank company! Horrible and customer service agents on the phone. I will contact a supervisor to resolve this issue! DO NOT USE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

I was ripped off by 1-800PackRat. This is extremely disrespectful and upsetting. I had my card on file for auto pay, my belongings were being stored for 2 months at their facility. I was paying monthly. My container was dropped off on Feb 7th and I was charged a full month, almost $400 on the 3rd. When I called to get refunded, I was told that because the charge has already went through and I did not call in advance for proration, that there was nothing they could do. Absolutely the WORST COMPANY. My container was scheduled for delivery on Friday... called all day for an eta and was told by 7 different people on the phone that it was coming and would be there by 8pm. At 6pm I received a text message that my delivery was rescheduled to Monday. What?!? Well it's Monday and I've been calling for an eta and guess what? No answers. Still don't have my belongings. I had a packrat places the beginning of October. Even with clear instructions the unit was placed incorrectly. I had them come back to replace it and the driver shoved the unit half way on and off my driveway. Crushing and cracking the pavement. I contacted packrat claims and my claim was accepted on the 18th of November. It took them 2 weeks to come and readjust the pack rat, which caused further damage. Today I recieved a denial letter. If I could give negative stars I would I hired zippy shell to pack two shells for me as they suggested to move me from Colorado to Illinois. It was two shells for $5000. They were to pack me on November 22. They came with two shells and an independent packing company not zippy shell. The guys are very nice and packed the two shells and said there's no way they were packing everything into 2 shells so we had to get another one and they did. While our pod and the property inside it ultimately arrived in good condition, we cannot recommend 1-800-PackRat for moving. If you do decide to use this company, be aware. Plan to spend a lot of time calling the company for information. They did not initiate anything. When you call the company, you will not speak to the same person twice. The company was not forthcoming with information about shipment, delays or changes in scheduling. The worst experience with a company in my life. We are waiting for more than 3 weeks or stuff from across the country. Every day is an excuse: the truck is broken down, etc etc etc. At this point, I just want to make a report, go to the media, call the police IDK. I just want my stuff back, because I'm sleeping on an air mattress without anything in my house. RUNAWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

We had arranged a long-distance move from California to Georgia on 12/18/2021 the agreed upon pick up of the container was for 12/24/2021. First, the person who assisted us originally forgot to add the 10% discount, the total before the discount was $298.86 for delivery of the container, $6,182.50 for the transport & insurance totaling $6,481.36, before ending the call I asked about the discount and he said he will add it on which now made the total $288.86 for delivery of the container, & $5,564.25 totaling $5,853.11.
