HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. They were totally worthless. We booked Pack Rat several months in advance. We took the day off, had Hire a Helper movers show up and PACK RAT NEVER delivered the container. We spent several hours trying to get someone to rectify the situation as the hours ticked by that we were paying movers to sit around waiting. Their customer service consisted of just telling us they would send an email to the facility but other than that there was nothing they could do!!!! No conta... read more

WORST moving experience!! My girlfriend and I hired them for a long-distance move from PA to NY. The salesperson promised us that the shell will be delivered to our apartment and be unloaded from there, however, after they already charged us the second payment, they said they would have to do a “loose unload” where they unload the shell (while cutting open our lock that we put on the shell) and load it into a truck and then unload the truck again at our apartment. This company is an absolute disgrace. They lure you into getting their service by promising false dates of delivery and pick up. They will then unscheduled the dates they give you and NOT notify you. I was supposed to get my container picked up on a Monday, 12 pm and no sign of the driver. Called customer service and they said "sorry we unscheduled your pick up because the facility was overbooked. But we can pick up your container in a week..." a WEEK!!! Incredible that there is absolutely no communication from this business. We spend thousands of dollars to have to wait WEEKS after we moved across the entire country to get our pod delivered. Our credit card got declined because we had canceled after it got stolen around the time our pod was picked up. It stated clearly on the website that there were no balances due so, as most would, we assumed that the credit card had gone through before we canceled it. Packrat never showed up the unit I booked 2 months in advance. Blamed truck issues at the local site but said they couldn’t get in touch with the facility. Then rebooked us for 2 weeks later without so much as a call! Only found out when logging in online. Out thousands of dollars scrambling for a last minute moving company.

Awful. Did not pick up on time. Did not deliver on time. At time of writing, delivery is over 4.5 hours overdue.

AVOID THIS COMPANY - DO NOT USE! Easy enough to book, never heard back from salesguy after having a few follow up questions. Pods were late being dropped off, eventually arrived at 1am in the morning. The delivery driver had been working almost 20 hours straight and I was very grateful that someone was working hard to deliver. For weeks now, my pods are essentially being held hostage. They will email you with a delivery date, only for that date to pass with no word. I have called maybe 15 - 20 times in the last two weeks to ... read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. Wish I would have checked here before using them. Customer services and delivery is horrible!!! First, issue was when then dropped off our container. They broke 3 of our tree branches dropping it off. Thus, when we scheduled our pick up time, we were told that day and the day before, that we would get a 1hr notice before transport. We wanted to be there upon pick up and drop off to ensure no more damage would happen. On delivery day, the driver called and said, "...I'm 20 mins away." My spouse... read more

I would have left 0 stars if I could. This is the WORST service I have EVER encountered. Spend the extra money and use ****or ANY other moving company available to you
