Scheduled a container to be dropped off. The driver confirmed the date the previous day. The day of drop-off I called a service agent which said the container would be delivered. No call from the drive, no container delivered; which is scheduled to be picked up full after two days and an entire cross-country move is on hold due to them.

OMG I can not believe the incompetence of this company. It started when the container was scheduled to be delivered on May 5th. I called the day of the delivery and was told it would be between 3pm & 7pm. @ 6:30 I called and was told they had a truck break down. They would deliver the following day. Avoid at all costs. You will not get the service you pay for. They will have truck problems, or scheduling problems, or any other host of issues that they will effectively offload to you and there is nothing you can do about it. Their customer service will take hours to pick up the phone. When they do pick up the phone they will blame the local depo and refuse to take any steps to mitigate. You will not be able to escalate your concern to leadership (and it is doubtful they would care either way). Be safe, stick with ****.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Based on our on-going experience with 1-800-Pack-Rat, I hope someone heeds this warning. The experience at first was pleasant, they delivered our pod on May 10th, and picked it back up on May 12th from *******,AZ. If I could give them negative stars I would. This company will not disclose their limited-service area but are really quick to take lots of your money. Over the course of 3 months, I have called numerous times. Every single time I call there is a different response. They are flat out refusing to deliver our unit. We just had the worst experience with this company. The salesperson on the phone lulls you in with a big discount when you balk at the original $5k quote, taking it down by a thousand or so. Then they give you a time frame and set up dates but promise that those are just place holder dates and that it always gets there early. 10-14 days at most, at a price that seems great given the original quote. My storage container was scheduled to be delivered on a Monday and was delivered on Tuesday. Then it was supposed to be picked up on Thursday but was not. Apparently someone changed the pickup date for the following Tuesday but did not communicate that or clear that with me. Customer service could not get in contact with the facility in Louisiana for pickup. But for a cross country move, this has been the worst experience.

I Needed a container it hold garage contents to refinish the floor. The contractor recommended 1-800 Pack Rat and even arranged delivery of the container. When I called to have the unit picked up after the job was finished they missed 3 pick ups. Thankfully I was only 3 days into the rental period. In reading through the reviews and complaints it appears I was lucky. I will not repeat using 1-800 Rat Pack again.
