If I could give this company ZERO stars, I would. I absolutely do not recommend... I even talked to management and got LAUGHED at and told there was nothing they could do for me. I am paying almost $3000 for ONE pod. When scheduling it was absolutely great and no hiccups.... few weeks later when it is time for action it has been a nightmare. 30 minutes before drop-off, I was told it was rescheduled through text until the next day. Yup, they are like car salesmen, anything for a sale! They told me that Packrat would do the move from ******, TX and the them Zippy Shell would do the rest because Packrat doesn't have storage facilities in ** ****, TX, It started out OK, but then our container with basically mine and my sons life (after my husband sudden Covid death) was supposed to be in EP by the 21st of June, we left on the 8th of June. If I could rate zero stars, I would. Booking online was nice and easy, however apparently picking a date for drop off is useless because it will not be delivered that day. I will also be next to impossible to get someone from customer service on the phone to figure out why it was not delivered. Once you finally get a callback, they have then email someone else about the delivery issue, which makes all the waiting worthless. Do not use this company.

If you are moving on a schedule, consider other companies. Without warning, Pack Rat failed to deliver the container needed for our cross-country move on the scheduled date. (We had even confirmed the date by phone just a few days earlier.) I see other people in the Western Washington region have had similar experiences with this company. I'm very disappointed with this company right now, and having serious remorse that I didn't use a competitor instead. The staff was friendly and the initial reservation and setup went smoothly, but that's about it. We filled our container exactly two weeks ago (6/11) today at their local facility. We immediately notified them there at the facility and through the online system that our unit was ready to be shipped to our new destination. My rate was changed after I booked. I was told my rate could not be changed back until after my card was charged. My delivery date was changed twice, my pickup date was not set. I could not get a answer from them until I canceled then they simply said ok we will remove you from the schedule.

Would give zero stars if possible. I scheduled my Long Distance Move to be delivered on 06/24/2022, only to be called a day prior telling me that they were booked out until 07/09/2022. I keep working on a resolution but have been getting bounced around from call to call since notified. This will result me in extending my current lease (if I even can,since I gave notice) by another month and cost me $3K. Utterly ridiculous. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

When I had booked with Packrat, I was told 2594.00 out the door for everything, delivery monthly fee etc. so why is there two charges one for 2594 and one for 308.00 on my credit card? I called 1800 Packrat, waiting on hold for 2 hours to speak with someone. I was told I’d get a call back. I got a voicemail from a “supervisor” who left no call back info, and gave me wrong figures. He was supposed to pull original call and didn’t. He was super rude in the voice mail and was basically like take it or leave it. Stay away. Get e... read more

Absolutely abysmal customer service. Forever wait times to talk to anyone; their system will hang up on you after 20+ minutes of waiting. I had multiple issues outside of just their customer service line. 1st, the booking rep failed to mention multiple container orders take 10 business days to be guaranteed to arrive. No one ever mentioned a fuel subsidy charge that got tacked on after the full containers were picked up (it is in the fine print of your rental agreement).
