I am currently moving from CA to ** and have moved over a dozen times, this time being my first with 1-800-PACK-RAT. I was completely misled on the phone with the representative telling me my total move (which I have an email stating the exact words "Total Move") is ********. I did have the representative tell me that I would be charged ****** on 4/22/23 as the deposit but it would reflect on the final bill which was expected. I have used 1-800-Pack Rat for 2 long distance multi-state moves, and they did not disappoint. The rates were very reasonable for what I needed, and their customer service and support made a very stressful move much easier. Their drivers were very skillful and courteous and the follow-*** were also on point. If I ever need to (which hopefully I can stay put for a while ??) I would be using their services again.

100% recommend using this company. I never used a storage **************** made this experience stress free. They were professional & very timely. **************** was always attentive to my needs & gave proper information throughout the whole process. Price was on target with other companies.

They are the worst and dont even deserve one star They never show up when they are supposed to. Even their rescheduled appts get rescheduled ********************** sucks!!They are currently holding my driveway hostage refusing to pick up their pod impeding my move

Great service: reliable, courteous, and prompt. **************** as well as sales were professional and followed up with phone calls to make sure that pods were delivered and picked up on time. Very impressed with the entire process.

This was my first experience with containerized moving as opposed to renting a truck and moving it myself. I was very pleasantly surprised with 1-800-PackRats excellent customer service and pick-up and delivery process and will not be renting a moving truck again. The first customer service person that I spoke with was glad to accept a lower quote from PODS (as advertised) for a 16 container and provided an email (at my request) stating that there would be no fuel rate increase surcharges for the quoted itinerary. Selling a house and buying a new house was stressful enough! I was so glad that I decided to use Packrat to help me with my move! If I used the traditional route of getting a Uhaul, I would have to load it up (1), taking it to a storage area (2) unload it, then when I was ready for my move reload a truck (3), go to my new house and unload it into my house (4) . Competitive pricing and very straight forward and super easy to work with. Timing was spot in and the employees all very pleasant and knowledgeable. You actually talk to a real live person! We had to access our pod before it was delivered and they made that so easy also.
