This company provides the customer with a 16 foot container quote for over four thousand dollars, then upon delivering the container the truck driver states that the cage within the container is where you have to pack your household goods. To the customer's surprise the cage inside the container is actually a 15 foot container. There's a tremendous lack of communication, unless it's dealing with payment, and the Zippy Shell staff play it off like it's not a big deal. Our container was supposed to be delivered on 4/24 it finally showed up 4/26. Packrat called us on 4/24 and said we may not get picked up that day because the truck broke down. Ok, send another truck to pick it up!!! We paid for this service. We told them that it had to be picked up and delivered to the new house ON 4/24, we closed on our new house that day fully expecting the container to be at the new house. I am currently moving from CA to ** and have moved over a dozen times, this time being my first with 1-800-PACK-RAT. I was completely misled on the phone with the representative telling me my total move (which I have an email stating the exact words "Total Move") is ********. I did have the representative tell me that I would be charged ****** on 4/22/23 as the deposit but it would reflect on the final bill which was expected. I have used 1-800-Pack Rat for 2 long distance multi-state moves, and they did not disappoint. The rates were very reasonable for what I needed, and their customer service and support made a very stressful move much easier. Their drivers were very skillful and courteous and the follow-*** were also on point. If I ever need to (which hopefully I can stay put for a while ??) I would be using their services again.

They are the worst and dont even deserve one star They never show up when they are supposed to. Even their rescheduled appts get rescheduled ********************** sucks!!They are currently holding my driveway hostage refusing to pick up their pod impeding my move

This was my first experience with containerized moving as opposed to renting a truck and moving it myself. I was very pleasantly surprised with 1-800-PackRats excellent customer service and pick-up and delivery process and will not be renting a moving truck again. The first customer service person that I spoke with was glad to accept a lower quote from PODS (as advertised) for a 16 container and provided an email (at my request) stating that there would be no fuel rate increase surcharges for the quoted itinerary.
