Last year, I enrolled in 1-800-Flowers Passport Membership Program as I planned to order flowers for a number of occasions. I was not impressed with my first two orders as the arrangements were much smaller in person than they appeared online. (For example, if I ordered the XL bouquet, the delivery looked like the medium. Anyone can count the number of blooms in an arrangement.) I called to cancel the Passport Membership because I was being ripped off. They canceled it. When they get a local store to send the flowers, the local flower shops send much smaller arrangements for the same price they are paid by the vendor and hope the person getting the flowers doesn't notice or know the difference. Who is going to complain to the person who sent the flowers anyway that they are not that great or are very small arrangements? Nobody that's who and the local shops know this. The customer service is substandard to say the least. I placed an order and needed to cancel due to several reasons. I was on the phone for an hour and twenty minutes and they could not cancel. I called nine minutes after the confirmation email. It will take far too long and they have wasted too much time already. Just don't use them

I purchased two orders as gifts. I spent $ 175.00 for two large orders to be delivered. The first one was the Elegant blush Bouquet. I just received pictures and it is anything but elegant. It is pitiful, dying flowers and only 3 total roses. 3 Roses in a Large bouquet for 80 dollars? It is absolutely nothing like the picture of what I ordered, the flowers are not even the correct color. I have been a customer for years with this company. And today is absolutely the last day. I ordered a same day delivery “get well soon” gift for my wife early in the morning (6am) local time. I had a confirmation that my order would be delivered the same day by 8pm. I followed up at 7pm and my order had not yet been delivered and got another confirmation that my order would be delivered by 8pm. Horrible customer service, and inexcusable reasoning why a bouquet of flowers could not be delivered to a FUNERAL on time, on the day specified! Then, tried to reroute the delivery to the family’s home of the deceased, and STILL didn’t deliver! I requested a full refund, and now they still want to try to make it right?? I don’t think so! Web site claims 20% on site flowers and gifts. Order arrangement and balloon for daughter's birthday. Could not find promo code area to fill in. Placed order and then called to explain about requesting discount. I was told that offer expired. I asked why it was on web site if it had expired. Even my confirmation stated there was a 20% discount. After lengthy discussion with rep was told I would get discount. Then she comes back on line to say it has expired again. This company has terrible customer service. After screwing up my order - was never delivered - I was offered a 50% refund through an online chat. I insisted on a full refund as they’ve already ruined the occasion. The chat “person” finally agreed to give a 100% full refund, noted it would take 7-10 business days for a refund to hit my account and then immediately dropped the chat - just exited, dropped it, wiped hands of it and left. This is the 3rd time you have lost or misplaced an order. I see you have bought up or merged with all your competition so no wonder your service is terrible. I will never use you again but I doubt anyone cares or a human being will actually know. What a shame.
