Ordered flowers for my mother’s 60 birthday, paid extra for Saturday delivery (the day of her birthday). The flowers did not arrive until Monday morning and by that time they were all dead. I contacted their customer service web chat and was told that they would send a replacement bouquet, which I refused as they missed the whole point of delivering ON HER BIRTHDAY. More like a 0 star review. Never told my same day delivery would not be completed. They rescheduled for the next day... Guess what happened... Rescheduled again without being told. Called 4-5 times asking to speak with a supervisor without being put into contact. The last agent gave me 50% off and scheduled it for same day again. Later in the day the company called me again. I asked for a supervisor and after arguing with the agent I finally got on the line. The supervisor set up a call back to delivery same day.
Buyer beware. I’ve bought flowers within this year and both times it was botched. The latest was just yesterday when i discovered the person i sent flowers to never got them. First the sent me an email saying the flowers were delivered (which would have been appropriate since that was the day they were to be delivered). Ordered flowers for the next day and they claimed they attempted delivery but no one was home. I have three security cameras on the outside of my property and none of them show anyone pulling up to our home nor arriving at our doorstep. 1800Flowers is a scam. Don’t use them.
I should have read the reviews before I ordered flowers for a friend who had a heart attack. The were suppose to be delivered on a Thursday and had still not been delivered by Friday at 5 o’clock. I tried to track my order on line and was told they couldn’t find it. I call and was on hold, finally got a message that they would call be back. I've ordered flowers twice from them for a birthday (April and now July) and both deliveries never arrived as promised. My second delivery July 29, 2021) was for my mom's birthday and was extra special because we had just had two deaths in the family. One of the deaths was the lost of my mom's grandson, so the flowers were a little more special. I just spent 2 hours with 1800flowers.com website and chat service trying to simply order a $52.98 bouquet with a gift card. It will be too frustrating to describe all the events that just took place. Bottom line, it was so bad that I plan on shredding the $50 gift card I was given and using to spare anyone I know (or myself) from a truly horrific experience. I signed up for their passport program. I ordered flowers for my mother for Mother’s Day. I ordered a month in advance and scheduled delivery the Friday before Mother’s Day. She never received the flowers. Then the exact same thing happened with flowers for my mother in law’s birthday. I ordered two dozen red roses, with a red vase, for my wife. She received a skinny box containing roses wrapped in plastic and crammed into it. No florist had touched these flowers. Apparently they think sending these not arranged is ok. Customer service gave me a long spill about how these are from their partners and they come that way.
