What a horrible experience I had with 1 800 Flowers and 1 800 Baskets. I tried to order my son cupcakes for his birthday. He moved to LA so this was his first birthday away from home. This company is a total scam!! I ordered flowers for my best friend whose mothers funeral was on last Saturday. The arrangement was suppose to be delivered Friday before the funeral. Ordered some flowers from them recently, they delivered them the next day but they delivered the wrong flowers, meaning she got someone elses flowers. No big deal mistakes happen so I had them redeliver again just in case. This time she didnt even get flowers yet it says they were delivered, meaning they delivered it to the wrong house. This business is literally a scam. Dont use them and the BBB needs to shut them down.Tl;dr - Id give them a zero star if I could, worst "company" I've ever dealt with by far.
I have used 1-800-flowers twice and both times for birthday surprises, paid for same day delivery of chocolate covered strawberrys and the first time it was two days late and the fruit was bad and now today September 1, 2021 it wasn't delivered again and I guess by the time it is delivered the fruit will be bad again. Ordered a gift for my wife for her first day of school. I've done for 17 years. Sometimes its been the last minute and I had to pay through the nose. This year, I ordered 6 days in advance. Awful company! Ordered anniversary flowers for my wife a week in advance. Got an email that they had been delivered but nothing was out front ( I was home). Went to website and it says order status could not be retrieved at this time. Called customer service but they put you on a list to call you back no call back. Went onto their site to use online chat, but they cant tell you or help you with anything. I ordered a Party Pooch w/balloon from **** flowers on August 25 to be delivered August 27th for my mother's birthday. Online and in the description, the dog is perched up out of a white and multicolored dotted reusable candy dish with vibrant carnations and purple echinacea flowers behind it with a colorful "Happy Birthday" balloon attached to it. There is a reason why they hide all their 1 and 2 star reviews on their website! Flowers delivered to the recipient was not even close to what I had purchased for $60. I ordered bright flowers with a mixture of yellow and orange. What my recipient received was a couple of pink and red roses that you can get for $15 at the supermarket. I called the company and they suggested to resend the flowers (the occasion was over, so no) or give me $20 voucher to buy another one (no, why would I buy from you again).
