When I contacted 1800flowers, I was told that the item wouldnt ship to the zip code which I thought was strange since **********, ** is a huge city in ***********. I even had her repeat the number to me and she had it right. She said she checked again and it definitely wouldnt ship there. I had the absolute worst experience with *****-FLOWERS and will NEVER use them again. I ordered flowers to be delivered for my wife's birthday which was 2/25 with assurance it would be delivered on that date. Mind you this was to be sent to her office, which has two front office personnel on staff at all times. One star is a one star too much of what they deserved. I've ordered a nice bouquet for my wife on our anniversary. The job was allocated to a local florist as I understand. 1800flowers order status page displayed a note 'delivered by local florist' a day before the scheduled delivery date. It was a first red flag. In the morning of the delivery date I've got from them an email of how carefully the local florist is putting together my bouquet. I had 2 floral items sent to me by 2 different people and neither arrived. One was set to arrive 2/18/2022. The other was set to arrive 03/01/2022. Neither showed up, but 1 800 Flowers claimed they were delivered and that I had even signed for one of the deliveries.
This is a bogus company. They confirmed there was a delivery but there wasn't. Then they said that they would resend flowers, but they didn't. They also promised a $20 coupon for future purpose. I used this company years ago, but new owner has figured out a way to scam people badly. If better business bureau can't shut down a company that is obviously taking people's money - then I don't know who can. Would love to see their website be taken down. Please do not use them. Worst company ever. Ordered a sympathy gift and had to contact customer service 3 times for an order that was never received. Had to correct the address the first time and they still sent it to the wrong place. Contacted them again and they would not send out a replacement order and I had to fight with them to refund my money. (I'll let you know if I ever receive a refund.) I ordered flowers from 800-FLOWERS for the first time on 2-10-2022. They were to be delivered on 2-11-2022...which they were. They were prepared and delivered by ****** Florists. There are 4 sizes to choose from (S, M, L, and XL), with me choosing the Extra-large. The size of the XL is listed at 18"H x 15"W, with roses, lilies, etc. included per instructions. The employees there didnt acknowledge my request and kept sending generic requests for an order number.
