I am a member of 1-800-flowers loyalty program and have been a frequent buyer, particularly of their specialty floral items, including the "birthday cake" made of flowers and "sangria / margeria / wine glasses" filled with flowers. Don't use this company!!! Especially if you are sending flowers for an important occasion. Spoke with 4 people over 2 days trying to locate my mother's missing delivery. They just don't care but there are many companies out there that care about their customers. Never again and I will let everyone I know my experience with them. A missed delivery is one thing and lying is a whole other thing. Wished I had read the reviews before I placed the order.
I wish I had read the reviews about this company. I ordered a bereavement basket for a friend. The product ordered did not look anything as advertised. The basket received was a bunch of junk with cheap candy and one orange. Paid $153.97 for the basket. I am calling our local news investigative reporter and file a complaint. They messed up my order to my father on father's day and offer a $4.99 refund and said that is all they can do. Then hung up on me. Terrible and awful. Never ever do business with them.
Recently, I ordered the ****** Dunes flowers for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. In total for delivery, taxes, and the cost of the flowers with a vase it was $73.69. The flowers that arrived look nothing like what was ordered. The vase was a quarter full and did not contain roses as the original picture from their website showed. I have placed 2 orders in the last two weeks with 1800flowers both were not delivered and not on time. The first order never arrived and after several follow *** on my end, I was able to get a refund. The second time, I ordered the flowers on a sunday for the following Friday. I followed up several times throughout the day with the customer service chat and after no one could give me an answer of when my flowers would be delivered I was then was told I needed to speak to a supervisor. I would not recommend anyone to use them, since last Saturday I have been trying to get flowers delivered to someone who has recently lost a family member. The first time they claim they could not deliver to the home, and the second time they could not locate the funeral home, which is a very popular funeral home in the area. I used this service once to send flowers to a friend and was unknowingly, automatically subscribed to something called Celebrations Passport. I received an email advising me that my card would automatically be charged ***** on a specific date as part of my auto-renewal. How shady! This email could easily have gone to my spam folder and I would be none the wiser.
same day delivery apparently means it will be delivered in 5 days. this company is a complete joke, I hope that they go out of business.
