The order was not delivered. I paid extra for delivery to get flowers for my mom's 70th birthday since I couldn't be with her in person. I called customer service four times asking for the status. The three out of four times I had to wait 20 minutes for an agent to answer and once they did, they asked me to wait so they could check on the order but they never came back to me with an update. Order arrive a day earlier than requested. Usually I’m happy about an early delivery but not when I’m out of town (and knew I’d be gone)... flowers say in the sun on my porch for 10 hours! If only they had waited until the next day to deliver (the day I chose!). Flowers were not attractive looking. Waste of money! I ordered sympathy flowers for a friend who lost her father to Covid. Ithe was a Sunday and I was concerned it wouldn't be delivered that day and asked the lady on the phone to make sure it was going to be delivered that day as my friend was leaving town the next day to deal with funeral stuff. I don’t recommend this company. I had such a bad experience with this company couple of months ago. They didn’t send sympathy flowers to my family at all and haven’t given my money back. I am still waiting to receive my $80-85 dollars back. Their customer agent called me the same week this company was supposed to deliver the flowers to tell me that they don’t have the flower arrangement I ordered a week ago. This company practices in “bait-and-switch”. The flowers ordered are NOT close to the flowers received. In general, someone isn’t going to complain about the quality of flowers gifted to them. It’s “the thought that counts”, right? So if you order flowers to be sent to someone with the expectation that they are receiving what you ordered and what they receive isn’t remotely comparable, how often will the sender be aware? My wife and I have used this company a few times. In each case, there have been issues with the recipients whom we send flowers never receiving them. The most recent occurred just prior to Thanksgiving in 2020. I ordered flowers to be delivered to an address in northern NJ on 11/25. I had to call into their automated system 3 times just to see if the flowers were delivered. At 8pm that night, the system told me the flowers were delivered. They were not. They charged my card twice for $64.03. I tried to call them and they hung up on me after 11 minutes and 3 seconds. I now have to use my day off to go to my bank and report fraud. Everyone says it takes up to 7 business days to get your money back. Isn't amazing that they can take the money out immediately but it takes a week to get it back? The charges were made at 9:15 and 11:30 so this was no keying error; it was deliberate.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never dealt with such an incompetent customer service team who is unable to do a single thing to help their customers. I ordered flowers for a funeral and they were never delivered. I was not notified that florist could not fill the order and deliver flowers. I called 1-800-flowers and the customer service representatives were no help at all. I kept getting disconnected. I asked to speak to supervisor and was told someone would call me back. I never received a call. I was so frustrated with this company and requested a refund. I will never do business with this company again.
