Misleading advertising and outrageous cost for the poor quality candidates provided.

As an employer I have placed advertisement for a job. Filled the forms and signed up for free trial. Less than 2 months later, I was charged 2000 + $, and no applicants besides generous offer . Called customer service, they will restore some of the money, but still have very negative impressions about this company. No one pay attention about when free trial is over, just throwing money in the garbage. Trully regret signing for this company. Stay away.

They tell you to get the premium account for $$$$ promising it's the best once but not even a penny worth !!

They have changed a lot. I used their service few years ago , the good old times when they were still not robbers. I was advised by a sales agent to open a premium account for my hiring needs that costs $1000+ a month. The premium account is supposedly puts your jobs in higher placement than standard ads. We were getting some views but nothing that would justify the $1000+ spent. Few days after opening the account and posting all my jobs we got a "hiring specialist" assigned to our origination. I have been dooped!! This company has left us in a major bind with the impact COVID and our need to find qualified people. They have taken advantage by their scheming fine print and unethical customer service techniques. I should have done more research as I can see it s very apparent that Ziprecruiter is a very unethical company on numerous platforms and reviews. I am FURIOUS! HUGE REGRETS signing up with ZipRecruiter! NO QUALITY CANDIDATES like they advertise. I was charged $600 and received only one candidate with relevant work experience for my job posting that was active for 1 month. All the other candidates that applied seemed to be fake with incomplete profiles, no relevant work experience, no resumes attached, no contact information, etc. I really wish I came here and read all the 1 star reviews before signing up with ZipRecruiter. $600 for nothing. Such a scam!

I received 7 responses to our ad and 6 of them their contact info was invalid. I was charged $504.00 for this. I never received an invoice either. I would think it be customary to receive and invoice prior to being charged. I found this to be very deceptive.

I originally signed up for a 4 day trial and cancelled online before the 4th day and was charged $540 for a 40 day service that I necker signed up for. Be careful they make it easy to sign up for a free trial period and then very difficult to cancel tried a few times never received a cancellation notice or any other message and they refused to refund me or give me credit towards future service, if you need to hire someone use the other apps such as INDEED.

I was billed over $500 for 1 months worth of recruiting, I will take partial responsibility for signing up for a trial membership and not cancelling after trial. However, in 30 days, I only had one candidate, who was not even in the same career field as my job post. Their response was that I did not reach out to have them help me with my ad. They were only will to either give me full refund to keep my current ad posting and make some changes which I was still going to have to monitor daily, or 50% refund of original bill.
