Ziprecruiter has a contract for any business they categorize as a direct sales startup business called their ICD contract. You register at www.ziprecruiter.com/icd. Ziprecruiter takes the monthly fee of $585 before verifying the business is of their standards. After they take payment, they wait for the customer to list jobs, wait anywhere from 24 hours to 2 weeks, and will disable the account without refund and without definitive explanation. They have put a disclaimer in their terms and conditions to try to prevent business... read more

Horrible experience with them. They charged me over $600 without telling me. They automatically rolled me into a $16.00 a day program with no notification or anything. When I called to challenge it they said that what it was. How can a company that is helping struggling business during covid take advantage of people in such a way. It is horrible and they basically said, to bad so sad. Such sad and horrible behavior to take advantage of people with no communication.

Business response:

Terrible customer service. I was posting a job and put in all of the information and free text needed. Hit the green post and save button but am redirected to the "must pay us first" section. So I buy 3 slots for one month at $649.00 per month. it takes my CC information and payment. but when I go to post the job I had written out, voila! nothing was saved. Called their lackadaisical customer service people who had no interest in helping me. The best help I best help I got was "Yeah, if its not in the draft, it's gone." So I... read more

Business response:

Hello Patrick, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're very sorry to hear that you were unable to save your drafted job before posting. Our system may time out after an extended period of time. We do generally recommend saving your job as a draft if you're crafting your job description on the website. You may also choose to create your job description on an external platform such as a Word document or Google document, then paste the information to the site to post. We hope you'll give us a chance again... read more

As a Veteran and small business owner I used ZipRecruiter to find job applicants for my restaurant. Their online platform does not show how much of my budget was spent and they charge on a daily basis which adds up quickly. Their customer service representative agreed with my frustration but said I have to "mentally keep a record of my budget" and check my credit card statement for charges. I was then blindsided by a $500+ charge This is not a transparent and friendly B2B transaction. It seems to be so misleading that it sme... read more

They are incredibly unethical and morally corrupt. They are only out for money and do not care about anything else.

Said it was 16.00 a day to start an add to look for employees. My job advertisement was up a total of 9 days which is 144.XX X-XX-XX closed on 6-2-21 claimed I opened the Add fir 19 days and charged me for it. When supposed people applied they didn't have the experience I was looking for and I would say 90% of the phone numbers were bad or they just didn't pick up. They robbed me of almost 300.00. No sign of employment.

Ziprecruiter STOLE my money and claimed I was another company without ANY proof I would NOT recommend if you are a smaller business trying to hire right now. Use indeed - at least their customer service will actually help you and ask for business verification. I am a brand new business that just posted ads a week ago and signed up and paid $1400 YESTERDAY only to have my account falsely connected to other companies and terminated. Ziprecruiter would not tell me any information - so for all I know they are just letting the co... read more

Bogus website with fake jobs, the subject line of emails with job leads is totally misleading and your personal information is not safe. A number of the jobs I'm referred to via email are for businesses that either don't exist, have no online presence or no record of existing. They also have nothing to do with my profession/experience. The subject line of the email will say "sports information candidates needed in Detroit" then it lists 25 jobs in the email. Guess which job title doesn't exist in those jobs.....Sport... read more

Ziprecruiter is a PREDATORY Service that lies and charges an absorbent amount of money. I used the service only a short time and had to cancel because not a single one of the applicants I reached out responded. They should be punished for all the deception and scams they have done. Just read all the other reviews. Do not fall for their predatory services. Steer Clear!

Business response:
