I want to warn job seekers that have joined Ziprecruiter past or present. The other day I reopened my account (have not used since 2015) Yesterday , I updated my information, uploaded my resume and my skills, ect. Saved everything and applied to roughly 5 opportunities for employment. I checked my account this morning for any updates and responses from possible employers. Frustrated beyond belief! I was told we would get qualified applicants for our job posting only to be called a few days later, after the free 3 days, and told only the worst applicants will be contacting us. Unless we spend an additional $500-$1000 more. They have already charged my card and on google have all A+ ratings which doesn't make sense being that there are so many frustrated clients on here. Do NOT USE ZIP RECRUITERS! Such a SCAM

Ziprecruiter called and offered great initial service, but I was deceived and wasted $500 for **** service. I bought the deal, then the next day got a call from them saying I'd need to spend thousands to get good results. My $500 got me 1 applicant who never even responded back to an interview offer.

I just recently graduated with my JD. In total my work experience includes 34 years of technical, management, and legal skills. After I spent a few hours on ZipRecruiter website updating my resume, I started receiving texts from lawn mower companies wanting help. Really!!! if you are a business looking to hire qualified candidates I would spend your money elsewhere. Do not get hooked by their fraudulent scam of "free" job posting.. by the time you get the first statement you will be paying over $600 or $16 a day.. no communications, I was not aware of any candidates applying for a job, lucky me I checked my charges. I feel that ZipRecruiter mislead me into a trap and I am not the only one.
I'd seen ZipRecruiter's advertising before, so I thought I would give them a try in looking for a new employee. I'm a small business owner and the $16/ day fee seemed steep for posting the job, but they offered a free trial so I felt secure moving forward. I thought the free trial was for 2 weeks, but it turned out to only be for 4 days- not a meaningful amount of time. People applied through the platform, but never responded to my messages or requests for interviews. I kept the post open hoping for responses that never came... read more
We "cancelled" the service in June and again in August, still getting charged. Each time the website gave the impression that we had in fact cancelled.

I wish there was a zero star option! I should have come on here first. wow 1.09 rating great job! These guys set the website up so you think that you cancel the subscription but low and behold you do not. Until you find the hidden link like its Zelda or something. I tried 5x to cancel and kept getting notices. The candidates seemed like fake people hired from India or something not one had the right credentials and not one actually called me.
