Like so many of these customers I am dissapointed in the bait and switch tactic used. I received a mailed voucher for a FREE posting and then was slapped with a $750 bill. NOWHERE was a 4 day limit mentioned on the mailing. When talking to their customer service they refused to make it right and refund any of the charge. Disgusted.
Why isn't there a lower rating? This website has let me to NO job at all. Only scam job offers. I have requested that they delete my account since they have now failed to help me both find a job listing, and have continually told me that my perfectly good email is invalid. Tech support gave me tips that did NOT fit my email carrier's parameters. I have been unable to log in since now they tell me that my email AND password *** no good. They're not worth it.
First of all. I was told over the phone that I would get the first 4 days for free. That's how they lure you in. Then I was told it would be 16 dollars a day after the 4 day trial. They charged me 24 dollars a day after the 4 day trial which I felt was dishonest. But what bothered me the most was that I only received one job candidate in 17 days and that candidate wasn't even looking for a job in my industry. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Very very poor experience with this recruiting company. Did not provide more than one or two qualified candidates, most of which were not even in the United States or in related industries. They have a zero refund policy, regardless of why. Received no help from management or administration when asked about our billing issues. Trial subscription turns into a standard billing of more than $500 per month without any notifications or invoices etc. to inform us that our business was being billed consistently, and very quietly. I've been using Ziprecruiter for a few years. They definitely have dishonest practices but I do get resumes from them, which is why I keep using them. Beware of: A few years ago they introduced the Traffic Boost option - that option was activated 4 or 5 times without me touching a thing. I'd get an email all of a sudden that I was charged for Traffic Boost. So I argued with them, they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Ziprecruiter's ad subscription is misleading, deceptive and predatory. I agreed to what I thought was a hiring ad for $60. It would run for a week. I was unsatisfied with the leads and applicants. So, I chose not to renew. I was checking my bank account last night and noticed a payment for $504 to Ziprecruiter. Blown away, I logged into their site. No qualified Candidate and absolutely INSANE to charge hundreds of dollars for nothing. If you are an employer, do NOT EVER use zip recruiter. There are almost no candidates, and the insane pricing is beyond reasonable. I wish I could give them a 0/5
After a 4 day free trial it's 560/month! That's insane! To make matters worse I did not receive a single interview for the month that my job was posted. Zipper kruder makes you feel like you're going to receive good candidates and I did not receive a single one. I don't believe that $560 should be charged if I did not receive a single candidate. ZipRecruiter is horrible! I signed up for what I thought was a trial and ended up paying $800 a month without knowing it. I couldn't figure out why my business was losing money each month until my biller came across charges from ZipRecruiter. They were billing me twice a month. I called stating I never received any invoices. I was told they do not send out invoices. That I am just billed every month. That's a horrible service! I want a full refund for all charges. Beware!
