I saw a free ad while i was looking for different job posting platforms & decided to give it a try. I should've never signed up for a company that charges you for something that is not consistent at all. they send you resumes of people who probably aren't even aware they're are on this platform. i agreed to do the free day trial and canceled 2 days after that trial ended. turns out it never got canceled & since they don't sent cancellation emails you won't know if it really has been or not. Zip recruiter was hands down the worst job recruiting site that I have ever utilized as an employer. The "great matches" that they put together are not experience in the field almost 50 percent of the time. All of the people that confirmed for interviews for my company were complete no shows. Zip recruiter is extremely expensive. Its definitley not worth the $24 a day charge for the service they provide. All in all its overpriced and trash. If I could give zero stars I would.
We are a mid sized construction company that has been using ZipRecruiter for about 3 years. Through this period, we went from their 3 slot subscription up to a 10, then 20 slot and have had fair to mixed success. While on the 20 slot program, I noticed that there was a $259.22 increase in January 2021 ($1,428.93 to $1,728.15). I received a fake e-mail from a company, via Zipcrecruiter, as coming from someone I personally know at a local business I have previously worked with on a regular basis. The e-mail read, "I am interested in you for my Administrative Assistant position at (specific company name in Fresno, CA). I called the named company and spoke to the person's whose name appeared in the e-mail and she told me they were not looking for an administrative assistant at all and that she had not sent out an outreach message to me. MAJOR SCAM!!! They advertise a 30-day free trial and then do a bait and switch. VERY VERY sleazy operation. And trying to resolve it is a joke. Road block after road block. Let's file a class action suit against them.

This company is not only a rip off but is deceptive. After a free trial they started taking money out of my account which is fine. I was done using them and "turned off" my advertising with them only to find out they are still charging me!! THEIR PLATFORM DOES NOT ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO TURN OFF THE PAYMENTS. You have to call and deal with them on the phone. Not only highly unprofessional but also deceptive and should be against the law. Disgusted and will never use them again.
Be very careful. Their advertising makes you think you get 30 days free, but that is definitely not the case! They start charging you by the day on day 5. Try getting a refund because you did not understand. Fat chance. I may lose my job over this mistake for a client! Use Indeed or Monster.com. At least they are honest.

Do not use this company. They sold us a package for over $2000 for a month of advertising for a dental assitant for our dental office, promising excellent results and weekly follow up calls to check performance. Once advertisement was implemented, the agent never contacted us, and didn't return calls. On top of this, for advertising in a city of 400k, we only received 4 qualified (with licenses needed for the job) that applied in the entire month. WARNING TO ALL SMALL BUSINESSES!!!! Ziprecruiter are big SCAMMERS. Don't take any "free trial". I don't know how they are allowed to continue to scam people out of their money. Do not advertise jobs via this site
