I am a customer of Xoom Energy for many years now. I know I have saved money on a fixed rate plan and remain on a fixed rate plan as long as answer their calls and/or emails. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM. Worst company to deal with ever. My bills skyrocketed and they said they were not bound by the capped rates AB had in effect at the time. So I locked in my rate for a year and the rate was decent. 14 month after I decided to switch providers and they charged me cancellation fee on a contract that had run out 2 month prior. Worst customer service, no one seems to know how to explain an inappropriate charge on your bill. Constant run around and being placed on hold or being transferred. And when asked to speak to a supervisor, you are told that there is no supervisor available on a weekday during working hours. Only to receive a call back minutes later and the story has to be explained all over again. We have been with Xoom Energy for over 5 years! We love it. We also love the Xoom Extras website! Prior to switching our winter bills were just climbing upwards. I love being locked in on a fixed rate.

Worst customer service ever I requested cancellation the same day after doing the application online and making my payment they lied to me they're very rude I can't believe they talk to their customers the way they do and just lie I'm expecting my full refund check through the mail I require wasting my time with this company
