Just wanted to let ya all know that Nicole from Branch 577 is a very welcoming and helpful person I always have her help me .She very friendly and helpful .She does a wonderful job at helping every time .

This Bank is the pits. They supposly handling a fund that was to be delivered tome. First they said they couldn’t transfer to me bank with me paying a fee. The CEO was involved with this but yet I paid the fee they requested because t still no transfer. The the CEO said I had to pay another fee before they could transfer anything to my bank. Sounds more like extortion to me and I would never use this bank for any reason especially the CEO who is a liar from day one.

We attempted to sign up for credit card processing. We received a defective processor that would not power up. No instructions were included. The machine was returned and we notified Woodforest we were discontinuing their service. Woodforest still charged us 50.99 even though no cards were processed. This is a horrible bank. Costumer service is the worst. From branch all the way to call service. Most of the managers of the branch do not know certain legal issues, and had to leave several times to say questions. When you call the toll free number you can't get past the first operator to talk to any specific department. Trying to get PAO done for dying mother was a nightmare. My congratulations to Woodforest Bank: I didn't think it was possible to be more predatory and unprincipled than Wells Fargo, but Woodforest pulled it off. Horrible Service. Froze my acct when I tried to buy my daughter's prom dress with my debit card with plenty of money in the account (Later found out when I actually got someone from cust service, the attempted purchase was out of my normal spending habits). Because it was a Sunday nobody available to unfreeze my card. Did receive a delayed text message 2 hours after leaving the store, by then, the ability to respond back through text to verify the transaction, was expired. They closed my child’s acct that gets their dads SS deposited every month. This has happened twice. I called them to tell them to fix this and they haven’t nor has anyone reached out to me to tell me if the money was sent back or if they opened the acct back up. I went online and they have not opened the acct back up and don’t know where their money is. I will not be keeping my accts with woodforest after banking with them for 10+years.

Recently saw a Return Mail Fee $10. I called and they said I had to go personally because management was the only one that could refund that money. They said they needed to verify my address. I said I have not moved in 7 years so there's nothing to verify. Make it make sense. When I got there the manager wouldn't even look at me in the eyes. Be in the lookout for bogus charges everyone. $10 dlrs times 10s of thousands adds up for them.
