Usually I'm happy with wood forest in Lumberton NC BUT now they have a blonde order woman working there and every time I go and she's there she very rude. Like today they closed at 2 I didn't know I got there at 2:10 and wanted to withdraw some money and she gave me attitude. I wish someone would fire her or adjust the way she deals with customers.

My wife and I have been having an account with Woodforest for about 12 yrs. We went into the WF bank on 12/27/2022 to open an elite savings account, to see if her dad was removed from the other two accounts and to see if I was a signer or joint person. We asked the teller to check to see if her dad was removed from the account. She said, No, the paperwork wasn't completely filled out by the person we gave the death certificate. Beware of scammers that come disguised as banks Do your due diligence before opening an account at Woodforest National Bank. I recently opened a new account in Leland, NC to have the convenience of a local bank after a move from another state. Within 30 days of opening (and never using) the account was closed by the bank corporate office and my money was refunded minus a $25 early closure fee because I listed "Retired" as my present employer. Had an account years ago and closed for the same reason I’m closing this one. Me and my wife have our paychecks dd every week and it is still taking days to post. Not only that look at my account this morning at 5 am and had two overdraft charges which I knew I had. But look this afternoon and now there is more. I do not recommend this bank at all and I will be reporting them for fraudulent activity. Worst bank I've ever had, no 24/7 support, purchases don't post right away, though I had enough in the account cause that what the app said, so T-mobile try to charge they're bill but I didn't have enough money in it, I though I did but purchases I had made 2 days before didn't post by the time tmobile charged them. There's really no benefit in having an account with them, the only ones benefiting is them cause they get to use our money. My ex girlfriend had my banking information somehow and was using my debit card to buy stuff. I went to the Woodforest here in town told them I would like that account to be closed and a new Account to be opened with a new card. They gave me a new account and card but never did close the old account. They had also given me A new card for the old account. Negative stars. No 24/7 support. Fraud blocks your card over transactions that have been reoccurring for months. Here I am waiting to access my money because the bank is closed and my card is blocked. No food, No diapers, etc… Switch to another bank don’t waste your time.

Taking my business somewhere else. I got a very large check, which I knew would take time to be verified. 3 days after I wake up to my account being closed. I call and they say it's an accident. Next time can't even use my debit card. They tell me I gotta go get another, sorry. Yup they are cause I won't tolerate this. So unprofessional

Awful. I paid 3 items. It's now taking 5 days for the items to post I thought I had that money in the account than realized that the items I paid didn't post. Now I'm screwed. T mobile was one and now my phone is going to be shut off and I'll have to pay a reconnection fee. And I will have to pay late fees on the other 2 items. I never had this problem with Navy Federal.
