Aug 1st they say they canceled NSF fees. If you read the fine print it's only if they return your item unpaid. I think this is very misleading. I was charged a fee for what should have been rejected and not paid. Beware they wil start paying items to get $32 fees. Bank elsewhere! Customer for 10yrs+ and never overdraft. But they got me and my money.

my friend sent me a wire transfer on Thursday August 4, 2022 at 11am CST from the branch of his bank Woodforrest Bank. The Woodforest bank cutoff time is 5pm CST for wire transfers. As of today Agust 5, 2022, the wire has still not been deposited to my Bank of America account. My friend has called and was left on hold for an hour and then he was told someone would call him in an hour. No one called. I bank with woodforrest in Elizabeth City NC. The employees are borderline hateful. I get direct deposit of over $1,000 a month and this is the one thing I least like in my life is dealing with this bank.

worst bank I have ever dealt with in all my years banking! I have been with woodforest for more then 5 years now and customer service has to be the worst caring out of any bank. hours on hold and no help at all. I’ve been a customer at Woodforest National Bank for years and on July 20th, 2022, six fraudulent transactions happened at the same time taking a total of 3600.00 from my account. I went inside the bank the next day to sign the paperwork to confirm the fraud. I spoke with someone and was told my money would be back in my account by Monday. Didn’t happen. Please beware I have banked with this company for several years and one day out of the blue they closed my account... no notice no explanation nothing so they mailed a check to my previous address that I hadn't stayed at in 3+ years none of my information had been updated even though I had been to the branches several times and my last name changed...but nope none of that was ever updated soooo needless to say I had to jump through fences hurdles and do back flips to get my funds back took well over 90 days. The absolute worst bank ever! They never ever answer the phone, I have a business account with them also and they hold my business insurance checks for 7 days! I’ve just opened an account elsewhere.. I hate this bank, the people that work that know absolutely nothing and there is never a manager in sight!

I have been with Woodforest for 15+ years. No issues until 6/30/22. I had an issue with paypal fraudulently debiting my account, Paypal wouldnt help. I went to my local branch, Kernersville, NC to report the transactions as fraud. The teller assured me that the transaction was disputed as fraud, and no more paypal transactions could go through. Terrible bank! I get a an $32 overdraft fee for $4.23 worth of ink monthly . I put in the money a day before so it can clear and they still charge me $32 overdraft fee. Unable to get gas but still charge me overdraft fees whenever they feel DONT GET THIS BANK
