This is the most useless bank in the entire history of banking, 99% of thier workers act like ***** *****, my account was closed for no sensible reason and they have refused to send me a check for over 60 days it’s been one lies or the other . I will have to sue for financial hardship they causing me .
This bank is the worst I ever had Iam starting to think that the bank is who is the scam I got a new card an money is still being taking out of my account they have the worst hrs an there no help to anyone

Call in to ask a question about where information was on the terms and conditions. Found out it wasn’t on there and was told it was a “unwritten rule”. Then go into the bank today to deposit a check to pay rent and for part of a funeral, guy at the Salem, VA location told me it would go directly into my account. Awesome, go to use my card and It doesn’t work. This bank is awful. The managers i have spoken to have been helpful but the bank as a whole is terrible. I have been waiting over 2 months for any progress at all on a fraudulant charge i disputed for over $500. They told me it would be 7-10 business days. 1st lie. Also said they would give me provisional credit during dispute. Never got one. I get double charged withdraw fees because they only have locations in walmart and since i moved its 35 min away. I have used Woodforest for two plus years and they have been consistently thorough and effective in all matters of business. Not one complaint and as far as customer service each member of the Hamburg NY team has given 100% excellent service.
This Bank steady tries to get you with overdrafts I will pay a bill let's say for example October 8th and the company that I paid receives their money but it does not show on the bank statements too the 12th plenty of bills that they do like that they'll just wait to try to take it out of your bank account to get you a overdraft fee ridiculous I can't believe how scandalous this bank really is
This is the worst bank I've ever had, they have horrible customer service and every teller is rude. Do not bank here!

My husband, myself, and 2 teenage children use to all bank with Woodforest. My husband account came up $630 short. Come to find out a loan officer used his social security number and wiped out his account (she used the wrong SS#). They put the money back in but would not stop the over draft fees so he lost $120 dollars. He closed his account next day. My daughter account came up $160 short. I have tried 7 different bank's ATM machines in Toronto, Canada and could not withdraw cash. Even all the ATM machine had PULSE sign like the debit card of Woodforest have on back next to discover. 5 machines said we can not process your request, please contact your financial institution institution, other 2 said, your transaction can not be completed.
