Well been with WF for over 10 years. I've had several CARDS that were compromise over the years. Now with the latest problem another card that WF decided to side with the vender online that charged my card. As usual I attempted to contact CS to the vender but number listed on account was no good. There wasn't anyway for me yo clear this charge on my own. That what any bank would expect. But to no avail bad number. Now CS WF decided the charge was a good charge and is taking my money with just a letter telling me .... too bad... read more

I’ve been a Woodforest customer for years, but I grew tired of being charged fees for maintaining a minimum balance, receiving paper statements, and other miscellaneous charges. It felt like every time I turned around, there was a new fee, so I decided to switch banks. However, my frustrations didn’t end there. BURLINGTON NC - GRAM HOPEDALE RD LOCATION: I was blocked out so I can no longer access to my husband’s card or log in. I have sent reports to cooperate (Matt ******) as well as made the branch manager aware Yari *********. Since Woodforest doesn't see the problem with this situation I will make all aware the Burlington location is unprofessional and cooperate dismissed my concerns. I’m extremely frustrated with this bank. When I first opened my account there, they told me lies about the way the account would operate. When I tried to close the account they gave me the runaround and it is still unresolved. it seems to me that the people that work in this bank are inept or the whole organization is crooked. I have been with Woodforest at the Lafayette, IN location for almost 10 years. i always loved this bank, but over the past 3 years it has gone steadily downhill. The branch is rarely open, when they are open it is always new people who say they can't do anything except deposit money. On July 1, 2024 my husband deposited a certified check written from his late father's estate. Denied me to refund 400 stolen from my bank account. Even with proof it was not me. They state they have zero liability for customers who have unauthorized transactions. That is a lie customer service basically called me a liar and accused me of a bogus fraud dispute. I filed claims on this bank.

I'm a new customer, and just made my 2nd visit to the ***Madera Run branch, in Houston. Took 2 tellers an hour to accept a routine deposit. The deposit was less than $10,000, with just over $3000 in checks. I was the only customer in the branch, the whole hour. I was told that they needed a "manager approval" to deposit the checks. I stood there, while they made at least a half dozen calls, trying get a code, to enable them to process the deposit. Looks like opening this account has been one big waste of valuable time.

I have been a member of Woodforest National Bank for years. I used my woodforest national bank debit card at a Wells Fargo ATM on 1/31/2024 @ 7:11am , the machine gave me my card and receipt but did not dispense my money in the amount of 550.00. I disputed this with Woodforest as well as Wells Fargo only to be given a provisional credit on 2/2/24 and on 2/21/24 Woodforest took my money back stating Wells Fargo provided documents stating the money was dispensed from the ATM. Had been with Woodforest since 2012, and every year have tax refund deposited to this account. Typically, we make some sort of large purchase at tax time, this year I find a vintage car I wanted. Although there was over $9,000 in my account the branch in Beckley, WV refused to give me more than $2,500 at a time. The manager Anne was rude, called me a liar, when actually she was the dishonest party, I asked her "if *****came in to get more than $2,500 he couldn't get it?", she replied "no, he couldn't".
