I've always received the best care here at Womack!!!
Can never get appointments when you’re sick. Always changing docs around so you never know who you are going to see so basically having to start you’re whole history all over again, and the wait times are ridiculous.
I am a bariatric patient at Womack Army Medical Center. I started the process in August of 2017. I have had nothing but great experiences throughout that long process. I have gained knowledge, understanding, friends, support and great Medical Care throughout this process. I had RNY on January 31 2018. I am a Gastric bypass patient and being cared for by the Bariatric team since February of 2017. I have had such a positive and caring experience. I have always been treated with courtesy and professionalism by everyone involved. I have nothing but good things to say for all involved..this changed my life for the positive and I am truly thankful to Womack and the Bariatric team.
My daughters Ophthalmologist submitted a referral for her to be seen by a Neurologist due to signs of Papilledema. What does her PCM at Linden Oaks Medical Home submit to Tricare for authorization? A routine referral for an Ophthalmologist?! Are you kidding me? She just saw one!!! On top of that, forget about trying to reach anyone to speak with for help because the Linden Oaks Nurses voicemail IS FULL! Brought my step-daughter in with a 104 fever and I waited to be called back. 3 hours and still counting and were still here with a sick kid who was put at an acuity level of 2...1 is damn near dead and we're still waiting. Womack is worthless!!!!!
I have been a Bariatric specialist patient for about 3 years. I have never received anything but the utmost and highest degree of care from Dr Reyes and Simone. They not only cared about my bariatric surgery and recovery - but have assisted me in my goal of completing a marathon!
