I have had several surgeries in Womack since 2011 and I have always received great care. My experiences in 2017 were by far the best I've had. I had two surgeries and my surgeons checked on me multiple times a day, took time to boost my morale with jokes, fixed an issue with a dietary change immediately and didn't send me home until we were all completely 100% comfortable with that decision. I have definitely seen improvements over the past few years and I would like to give credit where it is due. Improvements in the hospit... read more

Best experience I've had with a military hospital. The doctors, physicians assistant, nutritionist, surgeons, pharmacy techs, even the greeters have all been amazing. Any time I have a question it is answered in a timely manner and I feel like a patient here rather than a number.

This place is trash, my daughter is screaming because it 0120 and she’s in discomfort and pain from an ear infection. We’ve been waiting for over 5 hours and still no hep or estimated time til we’d been seen. This place should be shut down!!! If you care for you kids go to a better hospital and pay out of pocket at least you’ll be seen. Unlike this waste of a place you get treated like trash.

Currently waiting in the pharmacy area and looking around to see that while nice looking, the new design and set up of the waiting area isn't very functional. Most of the seats are turned at such odd angles that you have to twist and turn or strain your neck every few minutes to see if your name has come up on the board. Also wondering where all of the hand sanitizer stands are. There are usually a bunch of them located throughout the hospital, near restrooms and entrances and exits. Worst flu season in a while and there are... read more

Went to the ER at 10:15PM on 1/22/18 and gave the clerk my id. The clerk stated they will give you, you id back when they call you. I was called and my id went missing. I wasn’t called back to be seen until 04:45AM on 1/23/18 and my id is still missing. No care in the world that my id went missing. Only one person touched my id! I requested security to check the cameras. They stated, “we are about to have a shift change”. Finally at 07:07am on 1/23/18 I was seen by a doctor. And guess what still no id! I just renewed my id o... read more
