My niece was admitted to cfp because of cutting herself, going into rages, making threats to harm herself and others and the Dr. Tells her nothing is wrong with her she is only there because of her family so she needs to make "nice" with us nothing is wrong with her. He came to that in less than a 24 hr period. I was told when Polk county sheriff picked her up BY the officer that Winter Haven hospital was a joke, if we really wanted to get her help to try and get her to Tampa or a facility in Orlando. The nurses here are great everybody else doesn't have a clue this hospital is a joke. To much bad stuff to even type here
Terrible wait time arrived at 7pm my fiancé didn't get called to the back until 11pm and to top it off he didn't even get a room after waiting 3 hours he was given a bed in a hallway! It's almost 11:30 and still haven't seen a doctor! Ridiculous, will not be returning here for sure!
Me and my entire family would like to thank everyone at the Winter Hospital for the exceptional care that I received during my open heart surgery that I had on Nov. 30th. Dr, David Evans and his entire team made us feel so much at ease during this very difficult period. I would like to thank the nurses at the CVICU did an exceptional job following my surgery. Communicatipn between doctors and RNs needs some drastic help. Quit emailing each other and pick up a damn phone at least.
I was in endoscopy and had a successful procedure along with great pre and post op care.
