I am a paramedic and have had so many patients beg me not to go to winter haven hospital emergency room and after my visit yesterday i completely understand. I have a severe urinary tract infection and sat in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours vomiting severely with a fevere and a b/p of 154/90. They finally put me on a bed in the hallway and the nurae told me it would be another 45 m8ns vefore he could do anything for me. No zofran or anything to help me. I support Lakeland Regional all the way. I will never go to WH again.
My wife had to go twice much better than lake Wales thanks to Drs techs nurses y'all got on top of her problem very grateful ❤️�
I came in dehydrated but with do pain. I knew coming in I would have to wait because there are people sicker then me. They didn't know what was causing it so they did about every test so they can rule out every possible cause. That was yesterday today they are letting me go home. I had a very good experience here, all the staff have been very helpful and explained everything they did. A lot of nice people at whh. Thank you#

There is nothing worse than being told "There's nothing we can do, it's not our job" over and over again.. Tonight I sat there for 8 hours only for them to do nothing but tear my IV out and leave a rash. The nurses were HORRIBLE. They didn't know the difference between patients, were gossping about patients around patients, and even FORGOT I was there. (I heard them ask each other if I had walked out. Went to Winter Haven Bay Care Hospital right from the start it was an absolute mess. Arriving at 06:45 PM it all started with the check in kiosks being offline, So I waited in line a very long slow line to be checked in and registered the registration clerk was very nice and she seemed understanding. I was injured in my store 8-9-17, called the EMS and was taken to Winter Haven Hospital. Everyone was great from the EMS to the hospital staff. Chris the physicians assistant that put the 7 staples in the wound was excellent. In my 65 years I have only been in a hospital 3 times, these folks are true professionals. I am not a tolerant pain guy. I have to say really there wasn't any pain to my relief. Thanks Winter Haven Hospital! Steve Siesel
Had surgery to repair a broken tibula, everyone involved was excellent. Nurses were very helpful and compassionate, explained everything that was going on. The extra few miles of driving was definitely worth it.
