So I went in with chest pain. After 30 minutes I finally had an EKG and an x-ray then got to sit there for 3 hours and never saw anyone. Needless to say I left and went to Bartow Memorial where I was seen immediately and received awesome care.
I swear they are the slowest at this hospital! I took my daughter there after she got hurt at school. We got there at noon and sat for 2 hours before they called us back. Then all they did was a CT scan and then we sat another 1 1/2 hours before they came and said she was fine and to take her home.
We have been so blessed with the amazing nurses here at WHH in the MICU from day one. They have been on top of my moms care and have been the must patient, caring, and compassionate with her and my family all I can say is thank u so much to EMS for bring her here and thank u to Michelle Julie Ashley Debbie and the nurse that was on night shift Wed night I'm sorry I don't remember your name but Ive been so blessed with u all and the care of have gave my mom

From the person who checked him in to the person who wheeled him out to the car after being discharged, every staff member who helped us was pleasant and willing to help with anything that we needed. The nurses in recovery and on the 8th floor are superb and made my husband's stay as comfortable as possible for both him and me.
We had an awesome nurse and tech combination Peggy, RN and Elizabeth! They have made my mom's stay so much more pleasant. They went above and beyond making my mom feel like their own family! Many thanks to them both!
The ER staff was well trained and friendly, but the wait time (5+ hours) to be put in an exam room was excessive. At one point they seemed to loose track of who was waiting to be seen. My name was called one time, and when I answered she said "oh, just checking if you were still here"! After a total of 8 1/2 hrs I was admitted and once in a room everything was excellent...nurses, assistants, lab techs and auxiliary staff all knew their responsibilities and carried them out professionally with a pleasant attitude.
