I was admitted to the Winter Haven Hospital psych unit December 22, 2008. The wait in the E.R. wasn't long as it would've been if I went to St. Mary's Hospital here in Waterbury, Ct. The triage nurse and crisis worker were very nice. My stay in the psych ward I wasn't used to and was very anxious. The nurses and doctors there were wonderful. I was discharged in 48 hours out of a Baker Act 72 hour paper which is pretty good. I was then discharged on Christmas Eve to be with my family for Christmas. Thanks again!!!
Came in on Wednesday and have wait until Monday to have procedure done...but I'm not mad...the staff has been great...they're just overwhelmed
You guys suck didn't help me get treatment and when you're nurse illegally takes my property and slaps my hands away so I can't see her name tag. You guys kick me out and you know I have an infection in my blood that can kill me. You guys need to upgrade frfr
I was told I was potentially having a galbladder related issue by a nurse. I waited 6 hours in the E.R and never saw a doctor! I am now on my way to Florida Health Care in Celebration because you as a hospital failed me as a patient!
I wrny into ER on 12/4/2016 my bday ughh I had been diagnised wuth bronchitis weekend before thanksgiving andd was not getting any better on those meds. So at 430am I went ER and amazingly I was out into and exam room within 10 min of my arrival. ER was empty I qas only one there thats never happened before. They did chest xrays flu swab test etc. I was done by about 630am with a new set of prescriptions but one the nurse forgot to give me prescript paper sooo had to go back later in the mornin to get it. It was a great experience for the first time in along time ,in and out, excellent team this night!
My husband is frequently a patient in the WHH ER as he has several medical issues. We have found the care there and on the different floors he has been admitted to to be very good. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in this area. As a retired nurse I feel confident in my assessment of WHH. Thank you to the entire staff. �
