Waited 6 hours with my 3 year son before getting mad and leaving lakeland is worth the drive
I totally agree about the emergency room experience, it is a nightmare!! I totally disagree about the care after being admitted! My husband received excellent care and the nurses and especially the tech was caring, and very much present. They took the time to listen to our concerns and went out of their way to ensure any issues we had were addressed immediately! If the emergency room problems were addressed I would not hesitate to give 5 stars!!
Very discombobulated procedure in the Emergency department. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Patients should have been assessed faster with more severe injuries being treated first.
The nurses and the staff were all very courteous and gave excellent care. The only reason I didn't give you a 5 was the food in the cafeteria is terrible. It used to be SO good, but since Baycare took over, it's really bad. No more bread pudding, the chicken I got with gravy was inedible, I took 2 bites and threw the rest away. The fries my grand daughter got were cold and the bun on the cheeseburger was hard. At breakfast the next day, the potatoes and eggs were both cold. Such a shame. I have been reading the reviews and want to post something positive about this hospital.ive been here for ten days now and have been so impressed and grateful forDr.Jose Martinez Salas and his team of specialists.Competent professionals working on my complex illness. want to give GOD the glory for all of this.Awesome nurses and techs.thank you for letting me post this.
Edited april 13. It just keeps get. Worse. A cluster of mistakes.On my mother was taken to the ER By Me on March 28th and admited. Then she was transferred to a rehab center I felt like it was too soon and that she was still very sick. I told the hospital that my mother's blood pressure was dropping upon exertion and so is her oxygen but they sent her to rehab anyway Spring Lake period when I got the Spring Lake and saw my mother sitting on top of a bicycle with blue lips I d...Continue Reading
The Winter Haven hospital sucks. We went in Monday night with my father around 7 never got to a room until 2 am that morning. He went with heart issue he had triple by pass last year. He never got token to a room until some time this morning. He said he didn't know what floor or room number he was in or anything. That is unprofessional of anyone.
