I have written this post over and over again in my mind and I still don't know if I have the words to explain my disappointment and my disgust with my mother's care while here over this last week. I had originally been told by my physician that my 5 day old, premature infant would have to be admitted to mease countryside for jaundice treatment at a follow up upon his discharge from Morton plant Clearwater. However, I was instructed instead by Morton plant Clearwater to go through mease countryside ER in order to be admitted. There is NO separation of covid-19 patients from other ER visits, which put my baby and I, who are high risk, in severe danger of contracting the virus.
