Horrible experience. The nurses were horrible and rude, the floor charge nurse even worse. Every time I wanted to get in communication with a higher up they refused and hung up

RecommendedI love most of my experience in St. Joes and I am always proud to be one of a family being taken cared of this wonderful hospital since last year when I give birth to my hear baby. However I just gave 4 stars because I had this very uncompassionate nurse in private room in telemetry after my son’s cardiac cath, I wish I could remember her named. I write this review in hopes my voice will be heard. My mother is a long term patient at petaluma st josephs valley hospital because they can not seem to find my mother a rehabilitation center after my mom has suffered a stroke in November is is paralyzed. my mom has been at this hospital for 3 months in this time my brothers and sister along with myself haven't been able to hold her, hug her. I often drop snacks and books, blankets k cups etc off to the hospital to give to my mom but today they refused to take it saying no ... read more

ER patients standing in line for over an hour to register was inexcusable. Some patients were in tears, some were so ill they were hanging onto the wall so as to not lose their place in line. There should have been a triage at the door to focus on patient needs in a timely manner. Other than having been handed a new mask, no hospital staff had spoken with me.
