My father had open heart surgery today at Winter Haven Hospital. It was a very scary time but the staff in the cardiac unit made this process so much easier. Dr. David Evans and his staff were very informative and prepared not only my father but my family for the journey. Two of the unsung heroes at WHH were two nurses that helped us. First hero is Amber W. RN. on the CVICU surgical team. She showed incredible bedside manner and a surpassable ability to communicate. Awful hospital!!! Never ever send the elderly or extremely sick to this place. This place is more like a walk-in clinic.
Had compassionate nurse Maria and Crystal. Dr.Deleon kept me informed and really seemed to care about his patients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Whh .They have really changed for the good in my eye's. THANK YOU WHH
