I really really hate this internet service. It is pitiful. It drops every time I blink my eyes. The speed shouldn't be call speed because it doesn't exist. Customer service, well. A techniccuan supposed to come yesterday, I was told they should be here in between 8 am to 6 pm. Never came, of course, neither call to let me know. I didn't go to work because I was waiting them. I called this morning and they told me they will be here in between 11 to 3. But, who isngoing to pay me my two days of from work? I will love if I can ... read more
Been on hold for over an hour to cancel the Internet. We finally got through the contract and got another provider. For the two years we had it we were rarely able to use it but quit calling because couldn't devote so much time to on hold
So glad we have Windstream internet! Just kidding. Ours is out, it never hits the speeds we pay for, and it's not supposed to be working again until Friday. Thanks Windstream for your incredible customer service and your attention to details (jk about that part too.)

they give you a hard time when you want to port your number to other carriers... I am reading all this reviews about "porting issues with Windstream"....its so sad...is this really true @Windstream?
If there was a zero star option, I would highlight it! Here are the two long posts I've shared on my personal page this week. Thank goodness, we have other ISP options that are much more reliable and even less costly: So this just happened. I completely went off the cliff on Windstream. The worst service and rudest customer service I have ever had to deal with. I can pretty much check every complaint others have voiced on this page. Just read them all if you have any questions.
I hate to see that some are unhappy with their service... I'm thankful for the exceptional service, and internet that hadn't dropped!!!
Phone and Internet went out during a Storm on the 14th. Was promised to have it restored by the 26th. Tech closed the ticket without repairing the issue. Was promised it would be back by the 27th. Now the date is the 8th of next month. Have spent 3+ hours on the phone with customer service (or on hold) the past 2 weeks.
