2 hour waits on the phone to finally get a person answer" hello" like they are in their on phone at home! Burped in my ear, was no help at all! Kept telling me there was no outage in my area, my daughter had a master ticket number and all the rep kept saying is " I can't use that" kept telling the rep my daughters home was on our land and we are all without service!! I just spent a little over three hours on the phone with Windstream only to be told they can't help us with our internet outage for another NINE business days. After that declaration the rep hung up on me. We have been customers for over 20 years and I have never been treated so badly. What makes the entire situation even worse is that they currently have a technician working in the exact location of our outage. My next step will be to petition with all of my friends and neighbors to the cable company to run lines for cable ... read more

We moved into our new home in the middle of July. Windstream installed a temporary line across our backyard and left a door-hanger indicating a permanent one would be installed within ten business days. That was July 19 and today is August 13. I've called on four separate occasions each time being advised the appropriate department had been notified and that a supervisor would call me back within 24 hours. Currently had to disable my wifi so I could use internet on my phone. I have .06 Mbps download and .10 Mbps upload speeds. This consistently happens and call in only to wait on hold for at least 30 minutes and by the time I get through to a rep it is working. After another 30 minutes to an hour later, same thing happens and we can't use our internet for another 1/2 hour and I am told by the rep that they can't do anything because by the time I get through its working again

How many days does it take for a scheduled new install to occur? Waiting 2 days so far on site and nothing. No communication. Boom, tech just called...order shows upgrade, not new install. Just wow! Talking about a cluster.

Awful. Total waste of money each month with no other local option. 0.07 - 0.45 internet speeds at over $50 a month. I almost reach dialup speeds sometimes.

It's honestly really disrespectful how you rip people off with your service. It's like a punch in the face, i'm sure you're aware of how bad your service is and yet you sell it. I hope you go out of business soon. 56K modems are more reliable than this crap. To anyone considering Windstream, any provider is better than this.
