Roger and Brandy just came out to fix my internet and phone line that was down when we came back from vacation. Called on Sunday night. They were out here first thing this morning and done their thing! Even made the wires look pretty on my siding! I def give them 2 thumbs way up!!!! They are an awesome team and such a pleasure to chat with. Very informative. Thanks guys :)
After waiting all day for a tech to no-show, and holding 45 minutes to speak to a rep who claimed he couldn't hear me and promptly hung up in my face, I REALLY have a good mind to just do without internet service. They aren't worth the hassle. I will say this though, all the bullshit they have put all of us through....we should be boycotting their asses.
Our phone line was cut by road crew in January. It is running on top of the ground for 1 Mile up a dirt road. The service goes out every time it rains due to shorting out. Yet I am told there is no work order in to bury the line. This is on Norris Jordan Road and Herman Bell Road.
Have been paying for the highest Internet that is provided I'm my are which is the lowest Internet possible to operate online gaming I have connection problems and constantly have to call when I do I'm told that my Internet runs slower than what I pay for and there is nothing that can be done I went two months without the ability to even stream a movie and was told that they would reimburse me for Internet fees (which oddly enough for a company I only have for internt) is less than 1 fifth of my bill do to limited options th... read more
I tried to call Windstream today to report an outage. Over 30 minutes to get ahold of a person. Confirmed outage in the area. I asked for a supervisor only to be told that EVERY supervisor was in a meeting. Now I'm waiting for a response from a local manager who the customer support guy said will be contacting me. We'll see if that every happens.
We've been getting 1.5/20 Mbps that we pay for for a year. We've told them several times were having an issue, and they obscurely schedule an unreliable technician that always says someone is "parking on our internet box" and then doesn't resolve the problem and says "someone will be out to fix it" (it never gets fixed) Essentially too lazy to fix the problem or too proud to admit their service sucks. If it were possible, I would give them zero stars. we have been trying to get one business line disconnected for 9 months and it still hasn't been done. During that time, everyone we have spoken to no longer works there. All of this trouble and all time my assistant manager has spent and hassle for one line. They refuse to issue a credit of $1,500 for an account that brings in over $15,000 per year. It's amazing they are even still in business!!
I have never dealt with such a bad company! I was supposed to get our internet upgraded since May. On the date in May they cancelled at noon the day they were supposed to come. Then the July date......nothing. Then at the end of July they set up another date for today. They told me that someone over 18 had to be home from 8 am - 7 pm. Another day of not working to wait for them. It is 7:33 pm and no show, no call, nothing. Tried calling and the office closes at 7 pm.
