I would give windstream a zero if I could .... This is the absolute worst ever we pay for 25megs and at max get three ... We actually haven't gotten any for the last 2 weeks .... Worst ever can't wait to cancel
this DSL in the worst internet Iv ever had,windstream don't give you what you pay for. windstream said they were was going to change our line a year ago and i'm still waiting WINDSTREAM SUCKS
Internet service will be dropped at any time, takes forever to come back up. Was supposed to have a service rep come by today to upgrade the Internet speed, never called. Then when he showed at 4:55 pm, he pulled into the driveway, got out, did something to the Internet, then left, all without so much as a knock on the door. Now our Internet is out, again, and we're waiting on the phone for customer service.
Our internet is horrible! When we get online (or try to!) it takes forever for anything to load! Our county cut our line doing road maintenance. Windstream came out to "fix it" by running another line on top of the ground and stringing it through trees. It's still that way months later and our internet has gotten much worse! We can't stream anything! Pitiful customer service!
We have been without Internet for about 2 weeks. Our first tech appointment no showed, when we called they said they can not get anyone to us until Sept 13th! I tried to call back to get a sooner date. After being on hold 45 minutes I reached a person who talked about her personal life for 30 minutes. She has 2 cats, works unlimited overtime, works from home gets breaks every 2 hours, drives a VW bug with one headlight but guess what still no date to fix the inernet. Your service is a JOKE!!
I've been without phone and Internet service from Monday until Saturday so far. The Internet is slow but the repair service is slower. If I find an option I'm a former customer.
I had the service installed on Wednesday. It took 4.5 hours. Then Thursday morning, I could sign into the Internet but it would never connect to the Internet. Call customer service and talked with rudest, lip smacking person. Scheduled an appointment for Friday and no one showed up or called. Called Monday, and still nothing .. now it's Friday and nothing!! But your company wants to charge me 200 for installation and bill me for something that doesn't even work. Our internet connection has been out a week. To act like they are trying to assist they have promised to send someone each day by noon. I have been able to stay home until noon each day and no one has shown. Their service is just above having none. The thing is windstream has just raised their prices so none is starting to look better.
Terrible internet and poor customer service. The internet keeps disconnecting and when it is connected speeds are 1 Mbps or below. This company has no desire to improve things, I was told there is an " over- utilization outage" in my area with no resolution time frame.
