Placed order for chair I saw yesterday at approximately 5PM today. Received confirmation in email at 6:19PM. Saw email around 6:45PM and called to cancel. Picture not color leather sample I saw yesterday. Told could not cancelthey needed to request cancellation from vendor and wouldnt know for days if vendor would approve. I was prepared to go to store tomorrow and buy chair after reviewing leather samples and making sure I was getting right color. No more. Filing dispute credit card company.
The purchase of the ** stand was a horrible experience. It was delivered 6 months later, and the drivers did not assemble it and just left it in the middle of the room and drove away. Customer service doesn't work.
We have had multiple promises about a $1500 bed we ordered in late August. At the end of August, wechose this bed because the sales rep in the store told us it was in stock and would be quicker. We were lied to four times on the phone (much less these email promises) about the delivery dates and the reasons. We were told the delivery date was accidentally sent to us. I bought holdmen handmade shelf online from potter barn and it is designed defectively, and I had to stay on phone for at least a hour because the customer service rep kept me on hold and did kept cutting me off. it was frustrating and waste of time .potter barn has poor customer service and they do not take accountability for any poorly designed items. if there was half start I would have given it.
Registry is a scam. They do not give you the 20% off remaining items, as promised in the contract. They told me to place the order over the phone and they would try to get me the discount but no guarantee. I have logged several tickets online to fix my discount but all have gone unanswered. I was bullied by the chat agent saying I was incompetent for not knowing how to use the discount. Creating a wedding registry with The *********************** has truly been one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences of my life.I've had products arrive broken (4 of them), an order go missing, poorly packaged shipments torn open, gift cards sent to the purchaser instead of me (2 of them), and spent hours upon hours of my time on the phone with your customer service team. June 2020 we purchase the dream swivel glider from Pottery Barn Kids and was delivered July 2020. We love how comfortable the chair is and that its perfect for petite moms. The only negative thing I could say about it is that it sheds feathers which is not good for a baby that puts everything in their mouth! I should have listened to these reviews! We had a horrible experience with a chair we ordered a year ago but decided to give pottery barn a chance again. BIG mistake! In July we ordered 3 pieces of leather furniture..assured we would have them by October COVID or not! I have been ordering furniture and accessories through a salesperson at Pottery Barn for my new construction house that I move into next month. She has done a great job of placing the orders and getting me the items I want delivered when I need them (after I close on the house and move in).
