An Amazing Price – West Coast Chief Repair called me before I even had time to contact them and arranged a timely appointment. They called me the morning of the appointment to let me know the technician would arrive within the next 30 minutes, which he did. The service is prompt & they called to let us know the repairman would be over w/in 20 mins. Reasonable prices. They provided an explanation of what was wrong & gave us the old part that was replaced. We would certainly use them again in the future
Absolutely horrible – These guys are the worst. They replaced a thermostat for me, used the wrong type. I called them repeatedly over a period of a month or so. Each time someone said that the technician/the manager/etc. would call me back. No one EVER called back even after maybe eight calls on my part. When they finally called back, they told me that the thermostat was USED now, so they would have to charge me $120 to replace it with the correct one! Too bad I didn't read these reviews first. Yuch. they called almost immediately upon submitting the request. i appreciate that they obviously wanted my business. the repairman came and fixed my washing machine quickly and only charged me the $35 initial visit fee. he was nice, professional and a good communicator. they gave me a 4 hour window (12pm-4pm) of when they'd show up and said they'd call within 30 minutes of the repairman's arrival. in my experience, most places would call at 3:45pm and the repairman would be a little late. this time, they called at 1:30pm, he was... read more
my technician, J.D., was so great. I felt very comfortable with him. He found the problem with my swamp cooler and told me he would locate the part and let me know what the cost was and when he would have the part. He was only gone less than five minutes and called me with the information. And the price was very reasonable.
Got my phone call immediately and an appointment was set up. Called and arr'd on schedule, very pleasant and reviewed the whole refrigerator, not just the one area. Glad he did as we learned more about our frig from Vladimir. Also discovered our ice maker was defective from the beginning, only we never realized it. The replacement is working well, no more obnoxious sounds of ice falling into the tray. Thank you! Very good job, and they were willing to drive all the way to my house which is quite far from me. Great job will use again. He did quite a bit of work and went out of his way to fix a 1961 heater. And was able to fix and I didn't have to replace it.
Horrible service, rude workmen, and bad repairs! – I waited 4 days for a repairmen to come fix my dryer and he was so rude to me. he said he needed to replace the belt but would not tell me why it had broken, He replaced it 3 days later and it made a funny sound- all he would tell me was not to put too much laundry in the dryer! he left my house a mess and had no manners. sure enough, a week, later,t he dryer broke again! 3 days later, same guy comes back and left after 10 minutes without a word- but he explains to my male h... read more
Very Honest – I felt they were very honest. Any time a service provider tells me how to do things more cheaply than they can, or when they tell me it'd be smarter not to do certain work, that tells me they're looking out for my best interest, not just a quick buck
