Bad show walgreens!
As a Soldier, I find it reprehensible that you treated a Veteran this way. My biggest regret is that I don't live close enough to stop by the store and let you know exactly how I feel. This manager should be suspended or fired for treating Cris this way and for violating the ADA.
You all suck! First ask discretely if it is a service dog. Then if they say yes and it does not have the id "vest" on the dog ask them to show it if they have it with them if not let them shop and ask them to bring it next time they shop. I agree! This vet should NEVER have to put up with this level of disrespect! He fought to serve our country and is disabled because of it! There are laws in the books at the state and federal level to protect him from harassment such as he received at the hands of this manager! Walgreen's needs to train their management on the LAWS regarding service animals!
ONCE AGAIN WALGREENS EMPLOYEES SHOW A LACK OF RESPECT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES...I WOULD NOT GO INTO A WALGREENS NOW TO GET OUT OF THE FRIKIN RAIN!!!
I have worked in customer service for a while and this is so disrespectful to any customer much less a vet. Even if he had not seen the service animals collar ID he could have overlooked this under the circumstances. will not be shopping at Walgreens again. There are more choices for me other than one that is so disrespectful of someone who risked his own life for his country.
Until that manager is fired I will never shop at a Walgreens again
I tried not to give even one star to a place of "business" where managers who "refuse service" for those with service dogs. That's not a way to conduct a "business". Maybe I should refuse service to you for being a dumb ass when you come sit at my table.
