First, how does anyone know this guy was actually a disabled vet? Just because he said so? Second, was his foul language actually necessary? If it was true the dog was a service dog, although he just looked like a dog on a leash, he could have simply shown his paperwork to the manager in a polite manner, in which case I'm sure the manager would have apologized. Instead he chose vulgarity and rudeness. I would have asked him to leave on that basis alone. There is no proof in this video that the man is what he claims to be. So... read more

Walgreens will lose my business from now on. Anyone who uses a Service Dog to get around is allowed to do so, and your refusal of service to this Vet. because he has a service dog is unacceptable. Walgreens will take a major hit for this.

I've have two sons that were in the military, one served two rotations in Irag. Typically I'm inclined to support vets but what this guy needs is not a service dog but his ignorant mouth washed out with soap. If I saw a young man who appears to have NO disability whatsoever walking around with a dog I would have done the same.

Why do you employ idiots like the manager at your Mesquite TX store? He makes your company look really bad and incredibly insensitive. Fix this now.

Extremely poor way to treat a VET and service animal. Walgreens should fire the employees involved in this situation and apologize to them.

Never cared for Walgreens to begin with. After what I just saw......my business is going to CVS !! Complete violation of the ADA Act. This manager is in need of a disciplinary trip to corporate headquarters !!

If this is a Walgreens policy to refuse service to those with service dogs... then all Walgreens are off my radar. If this is particular to this store... this manager is not doing an adequate job and needs to be repurposed as a stock boy...

Your treatment of a retired veteran and his service dog was beyond abhorrent. This manager needs to be seeking employment as it is obvious his people skills are non existent. Any and all transactions Walgreens had thought of having with myself are now no longer a possibility. The store owes him an apology - the worthless excuse for a manager should be looking for work.

I think what this manager and employee did was horrible and totally uncalled for. Walgreens ought to be ashamed of themselves. I think I'll shop at CVS from now on.
