How was the manager to know if the guy was being serious about the dog being a service dog.. Don't service dogs usually wear some type of vest saying that they are a service dog... ie-seeing eye dog has a vest stating what it is used for and do not pet the animal... Kinda on the manager side on this one...
I usually like Wallgreens. In this case, I don't think it was Wallgreens, but, a NEEDED, Manager adjustment. LIKE FIRING HIS ASS. NOW. I hope Wallgreens already did that.
Management of a drug store should know how to handle situations involving service dogs. It's a given that there will be service dogs in the store at some point. My rating is not for Walgreens nation wide but instead for the handling of this specific situation.

As a veteran and owner of a service dog, I will never go into another walgreens again, CVS, you now have my business and family Rx's. Wife and several friends that are Pharmacists are showing this to everyone. They are getting many new customers thanks to that ignorant manager. I sent it to all the service related organizations I knew of.
Too many other places to shop that respect our veterans. NO more Walgreens for me!
