I was very pleased with the service I received from Dr Wagner and his staff. They were time efficient and very organized. Moreover, the staff showed compassion and were very attentive to me. Dr. Wagner showed interpersonal skills and empathy towards me when I needed it most. It’s been a journey trying to process the issues with my vision and move forward with treatment. High tech equipment which allows for correct diagnosis and monitoring of an eye condition. Staff is friendly and have amazing teamwork. The wait is my only complaint. I understand some patients may require additional attention and time, so this is no problem. Dr. Kapoor is very knowledgeable and has excellent beside manner. This is my preference for retinal monitoring.
Upon arrival, I was greeted as always with a smile and at end I'm checked in. Then directed to exam room, read eye chart then the eye drops. Shortly after that I have pictures taken of both eyes. Then my visit by Dr. Wagner. He look at photos, I receive more drops then med injected in my eye and I'm done. I have never had a bad experience at Wagner Kapoor Institute. The staff is always great.
I'm grateful that Dr. Wagner worked me in so quickly, but I had a long wait to be seen. The plastic seats get uncomfortable after two hours. Dr. Wagner apologized up front as soon as he saw me, knowing that the seats were hard, and explained that he was called away on an emergency. These things happen. The staff is wonderful. The logistics of the building are bad. If you have difficulty walking, call ahead for detailed directions.
Dr. Kapoor was the epitome of professionalism! He went out of his way to explain the issues affecting my problem. He was courteous and friendly, thus making me feel extremely comfortable. I feel that I am in good hands!
